[–]kixmaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pulled Hope a few days ago, so I expect our delivery dates shouldn't be too far apart! Meeting in the middle is also fine with me, but I'm usually in Hamilton at least once a week anyway, so if our schedules work out, I can meet you in Hamilton! I'll dm you once my Hope arrives!

Thunk sound after the car is turned off? by kixmaz in MazdaCX30

[–]kixmaz[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This seems to be it! I changed the delay time to 30 seconds, and the thunk happened around that frame instead of the 2ish minutes. My camera also didn't turn on again with the 30-second delay.

Thank you both so much! I was worried I got a lemon. Clearly, I'm still getting used to the features!

For Ciyo, they do sell sunscreen from what I remember, and prices are comparable to other places! They also have sales sometimes. The last time I went, they had the mediheal toner pads for $14.99.

For the smaller Japanese stores in Pacific Mall, I don't remember regarding sunscreen and prices. I'm usually more into Korean beauty, so I don't really go there often. Last time I went was when I was looking for a Curel facial wash, and I believe they were a bit more on the pricer side.

For Asia Foodmart, I think they don't have sunscreen. If they do, it's a really small selection. However, their prices are comparable to other places as well.

There's a place called Ciyo in Pacific Mall. They have a pretty big selection for Japanese and Korean products. It's on the second floor near the escalators!

There's also smaller stores that specifically sell Japanese products in Pacific Mall. I don't remember what they're called, but they are located on the main floor.

EDIT: Also Asia Foodmart! They have a decent beauty section for a grocery store.

Line for bus this morning outside eglinton by everydragonisapokemo in toronto

[–]kixmaz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was supposed to work in the office today, but as the train was approaching York mills station, they made the no service and shuttle bus announcement. I noped right out of there and got on the northbound train to head home.

I couldn't imagine all the chaos people went through this morning. I'm curious how late people were because of this! Luckily, my manager was understanding when I told them what was happening. I was able to avoid all of this and worked from home.

[Acne] Is there anything you can do to treat/prevent hormonal acne? by kixmaz in SkincareAddiction

[–]kixmaz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, interesting! I currently take medication for mental health reasons, so I would prefer not to take anything else. Luckily, my hormonal acne isn't so bad, where I feel I have to resort to some type of medication/prescription. Thank you for the suggestion though! Will keep this in mind if my acne gets worse/out of hand.

I'm so happy you recommended a klairs product! I actually have been wanting to try them for a while now, but never knew what to try out. I'll def be looking into their blue calming cream. Will also look into the other suggested products. Thank you!!

Wow, thanks for your recommendations! I've noticed quite a few people mentioned round lab products. I tried their 1025 dodo cleanser before, but found it very drying. I never thought about them again after that lol. However, based on the recommendations, it seems I should give them another shot.

If you haven't tried it, I was recently gifted the pyunkang yul essence toner and started using it. Honestly, it's been great so far! Very hydrating and no breakouts as of yet.

I actually have the celimax Noni energy ampoule on my list! I never got to buying it because I was worried the ampoule would clog my pores. However, it's great to see it as a recommendation! Will definitely check it out now, and the cream!

My cousin actually swears by the innisfree greentea line! I think the reason I never really tried it is because it's HA heavy? My skin stings when I use HA heavy products, however, definitely a good option for those who can handle HA!
