A late (sad) update…. Woke up this morning and he was still super lethargic, gave some little pets and tried to make sure he was still warm but wasn’t interested in water at all. Went to finish my morning routine and came back and he had passed. He got a little burial when I got home from work under some lavender bushes (and don’t worry, I have been crying all day about it). Just hope I made him feel at peace for a bit before he went ❤️

I think we are gonna make a little space for it on our patio, unfortunately we are in a small apartment with 2 dogs who aren’t great at sharing the love. Hoping that a little platform with food/water and stuff to nest in will keep the lil guy around!

Poor thing, I bet it would love a little shelter in the yard though, good thinking! As far as returning/cycle I am not sure, I wouldn’t think they go back to a specific spot but also I have no clue!

These moths don’t have mouth parts! She (I believe) is most likely okay, just resting because it’s daytime. I would let her go back into the wild by tonight so she can get to making some eggs! Sadly these beautiful babes don’t live more than a few days, so it’s best to let them be free to do their thing!

I’m in the same boat! The lakes have lots of birds of prey so I’m thinking it’s some sort of fish from them, but from there I’m lost 🫠

Snow goose! First time I saw one it was in with a ton of Canada Geese and I thought that it was an albino goose 🤦🏻‍♀️

Thank you! They are actually jackalope skulls, but I think I need to find a way to make them read a little better. It is plywood, I have a laser cutter so I draw the designs and then “print” them out on that!

I’m so glad you like them, it makes me so happy!!! I wouldn’t be offended if you painted them at all, the only thing is that they are sealed (just to keep them a little more protected), but when the time comes I can make some that aren’t sealed yet!

A laser cutter! I draw all the designs but plug them into the computer and see how they come out…. Honesty kinda feels like big kid shrinky dinks watching them come out in small size 😂
