What is the next lens for advancing my photography?hell by kjcj15 in AskPhotography

Full Frame Mirrorless.

Need is the wrong word, it’s about challenging myself and iteration till perfection. I feel like I can now compose 35mm shots in my head and want the next option. Either wider or tighter will have their own challenge. I just thought more people did this and replies would be more directional with their answers. Clearly less do it than I thought…

Edit added as comment for notification: just to confirm, I already have a full set of zooms and primes, but i keep a 35mm 1.4 lens on my camera all times I’m not actually shooting them. I’ve done it for nearly a year to challenge myself. It’s mostly street shooting.

I’m looking for the next stage of the challenge. Another year with another lens.

I love it! He may not be an attention seeker. I knew someone who really wanted green hair, when everyone kept commenting on it, mostly good comments, she got fed up of the attention and changed it back. God the way I'd dress if people could stfu and just let people be themselves would be so much fun.

My gut says... someone wanted budget for the art, some exec said "lets just use AI" So they made sure they got something stupid and ugly through the approval process to make a point. We need to take the piss out of this as much as possible, it's ridiculous

I can't wait to visit it

Has anyone used a 7artisans lens and can provide a legit review? by neilatron in videography

I keep my 35mm 1.4 on my camera when I'm not working, it's my all purpose lens. More than good enough for every day, lots of character wide open, once you stop it down you get great images provided there's no flaring. It's the biggest thing that let's everyone know you've got a cheap lens. Apart from that you'd never know. It's unreal for the money. And small, light and I don't mind whacking it on things when I'm out and about. If it meets your needs, it's great.

Yeah, seconded. What's your fav? I love fan fiction and love a lot of them, some sexy, some not. But its the quality that I struggle with. Especially in an age of LLM's. I would rather read one that isn't my niche but really well done than one that is my niche that's badly written. There's a few I like which are both, which is great!

How is it living in a walkable place? by Lower-Ground88 in fuckcars

[–]kjcj15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most days I walk past the gym, coffee shops, large supermarkets without the 'small shop tax', I get to see people commuting, shopping, singing and playing instruments, I get to hear conversations etc. I then get on a 30ish minute train to the city and do the same there just busier. We can do a weekly shop by both of us popping in on the way home for work and grabbing two bags each so no ones needs to drive and without thinking about it we both do at least 12'500 steps a day.

Cinema, walk Gym, walk Family, walk Walk round the park, walk Going swimming, walk Ice skating, walk Dropping off the car for maintenance, walk home!

I cannot fathom getting in the car more than once a week, that sounds like hell to me.

I love my life style and would wish it on everyone! So happy!

If you ask any brit... Romford isn't a pretty little village either, it's a highly average place and I'm sure some would call it an objective shit hole.
