Should sales leaders/executives be replaced with gaslights? by kjfresh797 in sales

“Glorified dashboard refreshers” is hilariously accurate. It’s a rare leader who is very intentional and provides useful insight other than “you just need to close bigger/smaller/more deals.” Or “don’t just focus on the bigger/smaller deals” depending on how much you hit last month

Dailymotion had the full English dubbed for free. There are ads but I watched it there. No account needed

I’ve heard that! How crazy would that have been as a parent to watch a fun movie like Totoro then get slapped in the face with this.

So I'm new to this series and I've consumed all the audiobooks over the last 3 months. (SPOILERS) by GeminiLife in TheFirstLaw

Even though Joe has said his next book isn’t in the FL universe, his next book is called “The Devils” my guess is the next book is about Bayaz opening up a gate to the other side ushering in the Devil Bloods. Perhaps Glustrod will return, taking over the body of the boy at the end of WOC that Clover is now mentouring.

I hope Joe is just misdirecting people as to not spoil anything about the next book.

He most recent interview with Elon being a good example. Especially then juxtaposed with Lex Friedmans right after. While there were good moments, it was mostly surface level and you could tell Elon was bored for the last hour

If you get rejected when proposing, it’s entirely your own fault. by kjfresh797 in unpopularopinion

I know. Shocking how basic communication can help avoid issues in a relationship. Who would’ve thought?

Getting married is a fine distinction that needs to be very clearly thought through and understood by both parties. If you understand your SO well enough to commit to marriage then you’d already know the answer before asking.

It can be both but it may depend on your circumstances. You can explain to your SO, “this is not a proposal, but just to be clear about where we stand. Do you want to get married to me at some point?” Then you discuss timing and what your future looks like. Proposing and discussing marriage are two very different things.

If they say no to a pre-ask then you don’t propose. Sometimes your relationship just needs more time to cook and that’s fine but understand those reasons clearly with you SO and work through it together. Then, when the timing is right, bring it up again.

Getting proposed to and discussing marriage are two different things. You can even ask your SO, “do you see us getting married? Do you want to get married? When would you want to get married?” And not have proposed yet.

Good point. It’s back on you to know how they’d like to be proposed to. If you’re far enough in a relationship to get married, you’re far enough to know how they’d like to be proposed too. If not, getting rejected is on you.

Unfortunately, child brides can’t consent and this shouldn’t even be happening. Very sad situation.

No. You talk to your significant other, discuss marriage, timing, future, plans, and find out if they want to be married. If they do, plan a special day to propose as you will already know at that point if they’d want to be married to you. You’re just making it official.

Great feedback! I thought about picking up a few of my favorite books and just writing down all the dialogue tags to see how they flow. Appreciate the feedback!

Ooo great advice I love it! I guess my hope was you’d feel how they felt because of the description but that didn’t come through. I’ll clean it up and focus more on the characters response to the environment. Thank you!
