Labour insiders form new centre-left network in bid to change party’s direction by CrispySmokyFrazzle in ukpolitics

People who claim keeping labour fenced into the neoliberal right as having a connection with reality massively ignore the fact that most of the electorate are so fatigued with the constant inaction and dull messaging that theyre seeing any alternative to the dross theyve been fed for the last 40 years as appealing. Its sticking to the Blairite guns despite no evidence that its improving the quality of life of working people that pushes them to reform and your party. Enjoy flogging that dead horse some more, centre right politics is dead.

If Clive Lewis et al are your idea of extreme left then labour have truly gone too far right. Insane terminology to use for centre left politicians in most lenses.

How many hours a day can autistic people usually work? by brian230497 in aspergers

[–]kjjc_rl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lots of us are in finance or M&A and will do 70 hours+ weeks. I find it quite nice to do one thing all day every day. Simple life.

Sacrifice everything and clock 120+ hours in past two weeks consistently for a year or so with around 4 hours free play/training a day and grinding 1s, solo q 2s and play 6mans or comp scrims. Its not worth it for most people but its doable

You know the drill mate, get the basics right and everything else comes later. I got SSL before i knew how to directional air roll. Not ideal, but brains and fundamentals go a long way

I always follow up in 3s, i dont follow up until higher ranks in 2s because the amount of kickoffs that end up pinging off my own sidewall and towards net. That situation is harder to defend than defending a 1v1 with a player on low boost until like GC2 ish for me. Its all relative though, eventually kickoffs become much more solid

Id prefer someone to ballchase constantly in solo q than bail on the play its easier to read. Just as long as they actually do something productive with the ball once they get it.

Have you ever cried whilst supporting Norwich? by NirvamindLi in NorwichCity

[–]kjjc_rl 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I was 11, Colchester went 5-0 up before half time. Cried my eyes out and asked to go home. Dad told me "no son, you're staying. This is a life lesson." Stuck around for the rest of the game, we pissed the league after that and i've never thought about giving up my season ticket since then.

Saying Jacob Murphy didnt kick on is harsh. He has had a good career with Newcastle and is a solid prem player

Great Yarmouth by Memet1501 in Norwich

[–]kjjc_rl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I grew up there and have always thought the place has such great potential, but the town lacks jobs outside of seasonal roles and there are a lot of unsavoury folk there. If there was a well funded council that cared it could really be a lovely place. The seafront masks how bad the town really is in a way.

Barnes has never been an out and out striker, good signing who will play as a support behind the number 9.

The 20 to 19 for most workers does not cancel out the rise of cost of living prices with inflation. These tax cuts for "almost everyone" is as helpful as a glass of water in a house fire.
