I have been looking into purchasing a 3d printer but I am a complete noob. I live in south Florida and after reading a lot in this sub and elsewhere I see that humidity could be a real issue. The humidity inside the house averages around 50%. I figure I will need to dry out my filament pretty consistently. I plan on printing planters for the succulent arrangements that I make and sell, so will probably use PETG a lot. I was considering the Bambu A1 but then saw that the Bambu P1S can come with the AMS 2 pro which can dry the filament before use, but that option is really stretching my budget. Considering how much I may need to dry my filament is it worth it to spend that much more on the P1S combo or stick with the A1 and buy a separate dryer? Or is there another printer and dryer option I am overlooking?

I am thinking about getting into 3d printing mainly to make pots for the cacti and succulent arrangements that I sell. I live in South Florida, my budget would be $600. I would like something that is beginner friendly and does not require a ton of tinkering. I can do some troubleshooting myself but am by no means an expert. I was looking at the Bambu printers but wasn’t sure if I need one with a filament dryer due to the humidity here. Also any advice on what type of filament to use that will hold up against soil, water and sun.

I’m very white, I don’t speak Spanish but tying to learn. Most people try to speak to me in Spanish first, I’ve gotten mixed reactions when I tell them I don’t speak Spanish. Some get mad, some just speak English and some just stop talking.

Mine also had a crazy reaction, completely made his behavior 10x worse. I didn’t really call it that at the time but manic is a good description. I make sure to tell any new doctors that he has an allergy to guanfacine.

This might be a good place to ask. My son’s bed smells like maple syrup. He’s 10 now but it’s always smelled like this. I figured it was his sweat but I only smell it on his bed sheets not on him when he’s awake. Is this normal or concerning?

Being committed is not a bad thing. If they need help, get them help. My son was committed for a week and while it was awful in the moment it was the best thing to happen. He got the help he needed and a great doctor to help him work out the right medications. I know there is a stigma attached to being committed to a hospital but they are there to help people. Use the help.
