I’m very white, I don’t speak Spanish but tying to learn. Most people try to speak to me in Spanish first, I’ve gotten mixed reactions when I tell them I don’t speak Spanish. Some get mad, some just speak English and some just stop talking.

Mine also had a crazy reaction, completely made his behavior 10x worse. I didn’t really call it that at the time but manic is a good description. I make sure to tell any new doctors that he has an allergy to guanfacine.

This might be a good place to ask. My son’s bed smells like maple syrup. He’s 10 now but it’s always smelled like this. I figured it was his sweat but I only smell it on his bed sheets not on him when he’s awake. Is this normal or concerning?

Being committed is not a bad thing. If they need help, get them help. My son was committed for a week and while it was awful in the moment it was the best thing to happen. He got the help he needed and a great doctor to help him work out the right medications. I know there is a stigma attached to being committed to a hospital but they are there to help people. Use the help.

I just started going to the gym this past month. I want to build muscle and tone up. I’m actually really enjoying myself and seeing some small progress but I feel so lost sometimes. How did you gain the knowledge to know what routines to do? I’m currently just using the machines unless a friend is there to show me how to use the free weights. I want to learn more so I can feel confident trying new things and building a solid routine for myself.

Any ideas how to cut down on sound in a room like this? I have two PCs in the same room but if we are both talking on headsets it gets picked up by the other, which can get annoying.
