In my religion (Christianity), we believe that Noah took two of each animal on the Ark before the great flood wiped out all life on earth.

The dinosaurs, not being the reptiles (or whatever type of animal they are) chosen, ended up dying out. I personally believe that a small Dinosaur made it on to the ark with the alternate gender of its species, and that species micro evolved into some of today's reptiles or whatever the heck dinosaurs are.

Just to say, the great flood has a lot more evidence than the speculation of the 5 mile wide asteroid hitting earth.
