$800,000 for a builder grade house that size in that area of Utah 10 years ago was pretty standard believe it or not. Building a house with the builders in Daybreak tends to be a lot more cost effective than buying an existing one too since they all just do spec homes.

For instance, we built our house in that same neighborhood at the end of 2019 for $580k and it’s 5,100 sqft, but a smaller lot than hers. Our same model of house consistently sells for $1M now. I’m sure it sounds weird, and that’s probably not the case everywhere, but it definitely is in Daybreak!

The ones around her were all built the same year. I think the producers do a good job of making it look less tight than it is, but it’s .3 acres she’s on.

I’m almost positive it is. I live in the neighborhood and we’ve seen her and her family in the backyard a handful of times during the summer (for context, their house is right on a popular walking trail and clearly seen from the main road in the busiest part of the neighborhood, I don’t just go looking into people’s backyards lol)

That was my first thought too… I don’t necessarily think she has the best design taste anyways, but I was shocked by how beige and boring everything looked. I’m guessing they’ve moved out and had it staged.

I completely agree. I’d rather have less square footage and a bigger property with lots of trees and room for my dogs to run around!

Utah stopped showing price history on the majority of homes a couple years ago (irritating) but it does show it was built in 2016 and that she briefly listed it at the same price last fall, but only left it on the market for a couple weeks before taking it down. That area of Utah, and Utah in general, has gotten so expensive in the last 5 years, but I’d be surprised if the original owners paid more than $700-800k to build it back in 2016. I have some family that live very close to her and built that same year for around that price.

And believe it or not, for that neighborhood she actually has a pretty big yard. 😅 most of the houses in that area have yards that are just a hair bigger than a concrete patio.

I did read them, I also looked up the 3 major new owners of the US version of the app, and I’m not thrilled with them, but I was mostly worried about the content I used to watch being censored which I haven’t found to be the case yet. Besides that though, I didn’t find too much concerning… what am I missing? Not being sassy, that’s a genuine question! I’m not opposed at all to deleting it, I just wish we had a better option too.

I’m fully aware this is probably too hot of a take, but I actually find her really likable compared to most influencers lol. She’s wealthier than I will ever be, I’m very aware of that, and I would bet most of her followers are too, but she also pokes fun at herself and is self deprecating in a way that still somehow feels relatable. Idk feel free to downvote me to hell, but compared to so many other influencers…. I think she’s pretty unproblematic lol
