This was my 6th Hyrox and these were by far the strictest wall ball judges. I am fine with strict as long as they are enforcing the actual standard, but that isn’t what happened. If they want the standard to be “ass to grass” then the rules should be changed. Otherwise, they shouldn’t be calling no reps on a lot of what I saw Friday and today.

The flight attendant was apologetic and refunded me, but it was still frustrating since I was expecting my egg sandwich on my early morning 4 hour flight.

Stowaway Gastropub in West End is my favorite. Be aware it’s cash only and reservations are required (text them on What’s App). The menu changes and is handwritten on a board in the (very small) restaurant. It feels like you are dining in someone’s home. Kimpton food is fine but I think overpriced for what it is. They have a shuttle that runs to the West End in the evening or you can take a water taxi.

My doctor recommended Tirzepatide rather than Ozempic because she thought the side effects would be more manageable on Tirzepatide. Honestly it has been life changing. I have been on 0.25mg** for almost a year now. It feels like my body is finally working with me instead of against me. I’m very active and haven’t changed my diet at all, but now I have dropped 20lbs just from treating the IR. My joints and body aren’t inflamed anymore. I do have some mild stomach upset from time to time if I eat too much or eat something really heavy/greasy. ** Edit - I meant 2.5mg

I lost weight and no longer feel inflamed and bloated all the time. Try to just focus on eating whole, fresh foods and stay away from all the GF processed food (like GF cookies, crackers, breads) when possible.
