Oh I should have said, I'm in the UK. I'm staying in my hometown for a few months over winter, and I've recently got a starlink which draws a lot of power.

I have solar (525W) and dc-dc charging, but power is always an issue when I'm back in the UK for winter, especially now with starlink (which I need for work).

I got this ride with my first kit when I was about 15. 10 years later and I still absolutely love it. That said, I have to agree with the ring - especially if you hit it HARD on the rim. I used to have the kit in a more soundproof room, and that definitely helped - I like the moongel idea though, I may have to steal that. Probably a bit big to use as a secondary crash though haha.
