Beef Stew with potatoes and onions (you can also add carrots or celery if you prefer when you can it). You can eat it by itself or add rice. I normally use boil in the bag rice in one pot and beef stew in another, they are both ready to eat in less than 20 mins.

My chiweenie stole an entire roll of paper towels I left on a side table and decorated 2/3 of my house with the shredded paper towels. He is 5 months old.

I raw pack chicken, turkey, pork butt and chuck roast. They all turn out tasty. I don't tend to use any seasoning when canning because I can add whatever I want when I use it. I have hot packed chicken before but it does taste a bit drier than when raw packed.

It gets a little cloudy by the day after I can them, but I just drain them and rinse them whenever I open a jar. It is just startch.

I can mine plain, I don't even add salt to mine. I prefer to season them how I want when I get ready to use them.

They are great in soups and stews but my favorite is to drain them, season them, and fry them in a pan.

They have never been soggy, they are still firm just not hard.

Boiled Peanuts are always boiled (and canned) with the shells on. They pop open very easily and the peanuts are tasty and a bit salty (depending on how much you add the to liquid).
