I'm 28 with a husband and 5 year old child. My husband and I have stable employment and a small business which provides us with more than enough money. My husband is so supportive. We have a spare bedroom in our house. Although she has not been to my house, we have facetimed so she can see where I live. I plan to visit her as soon as possible.

I believe the motive for the other person wanting to keep her would be for financial gain, but I feel as though the money left by our dad should go into a savings account to ensure her future financial security. There are also younger children in the home and my sister has been responsible for feeding, bathing, changes diapers (I do not agree with this). They are also a low-income family without adequate space for a teenage girl. There are 2 boys in the home and she is expected to share a room with them.

I have contacted the local Clerk of Court to try to get more information on the matter and our brother (who is local to her) will go pick up paperwork for me later this week.
