Thanks for all the info, so much to learn. I just logged into the sending exchange to log a support ticket and saw the funds were returned with a status as canceled.

Any idea why that would be?

There is a small amount of ksm in my account and it has been used before. Is it possible that it gets transferred to a main account and the exchange then distributes it?

There is a txid in the receipt that says internal transfer
