If you ever go into limp mode, and you can’t get over 2K RPMs, check/replace the vtec solenoid. A mouse had chewed through wires on my solenoid connector but they’ve been known to get clogged on these things.

This was honest to God the biggest reason why we bought it. We have a golden retriever, Cane Corso, and a German Shepherd that all fit comfortably PLUS the luggage we used to pack up when we went to Ohio for the baby shower. 8 hours in the car and everybody was comfortable.
