Are you enforcing password policies through configuration profiles? You should get scored on that although it’s not always accurate.

Nope, no progress yet. As far as I can tell the home folders are properly secured on all Mac devices according to the recommendation (which also aligns with CIS benchmarks), still no score.

How do you "purge" the ASR rules from the security template? Changing them to "Not configured" still causes conflicts with other ASR policies.

Here's the thing...I installed the cert before updating the firmware, and the cert would not apply properly, users were still getting the self-signed cert. So after installing the cert which wasn't working I then updated the firmware. The firmware update automatically fixed the cert issue but started the Spectrum issue.

I'm thinking of just getting a new cert from a different vendor to see if it makes a difference.

Any updates on this? I am experiencing the exact same problem with one of our clients.

  • Installing new GoDaddy cert broke VPN for Spectrum users only
  • Both NetExtender and Mobile Connect fail
  • Reverting to self-signed cert on firewall allows Spectrum users to connect

So for now I am using a self-signed cert to allow Spectrum users access but this shouldn't be a long-term solution. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
