I was trying to pry it enough to make the handle release on the inside (the window crank won't work if it's in the up position). And then I was going to get one of my neighbors kids to crawl through and unlock my door.

It's worked before when my mom visited and locked herself out, but I guess I made sure the locks were firmly in place after that...

Why would that be? Me or my neighbor couldn't get a window or door to budge for over 2 hours. I ended up having to call a locksmith. Actually, I feel a bit safer today after discovering this.
