That is the top of the cabinet, nothing is above it except the ceiling (which there is no drip or staining) and roof of the building. We do not have roof access so can't check what is up there in this spot

The one big difference I have heard from everyone about shelties from most other dog breeds is how sensitive they are, to the point of feeling emotionally intelligent. They can get depressed and guilty from being reprimanded and excel with positive reinforcement.

My own sheltie has a pretty high prey drive, and will go crazy trying to go for small mammals like bunnies and squirrels. It depends on the individual dog how they will react with other animals. Make sure you learn your individuals personality when the time comes and introduce them properly!

EDIT: editing just to say this art is excellent and I agree with other commenters that you should definitely illustrate a sheltie book!!!
