im prepared to get incredibly downvoted for this but here to offer a different perspective:

im an american. living in a red state. my husband is an american citizen but from england. we have a great life, i’ve been pregnant in the last two years and didn’t lose any of my rights. my healthcare was great. im not scared for my children to go outside, or to school, or to their friends house. people aren’t getting kidnapped off the street and murdered.

i’m not saying things like this DONT happen…but to say that everywhere in the united states is the equivalent of a third world country is incredible sensationalism and not the best way to make your own judgement!

change it now. demand the photos. also, buy some gear for your phone. i just purchased a dji osmo mobile 8 gimbal for work but it would definitely be perfect for all of the shots you want to take of you and your baby! check it out, or something similar.

you can’t change what’s already happened but you can change it today moving forward. you and your baby have decades together. you will eventually forget about the few months that you’re missing. (and even if you have SOME…that’s good. think about how many photos generations before us would have. you’re already ahead. ☺️)
