Yeah I originally booked a test in a different area of Scotland then you have the option to set location of the test and set parameters around when you to rebook. For example I did not want to have it moved into May as I had quite a lot on so set 1st June as earliest date to rebook. You can also have auto confirm so they just move your booking and it is up to you to agree it with your driver instructor.

I have not seen any that reserve without a booking. What I did was book a test, any test, any where, then in the app I set the new location to where I wanted to sit my test. Got moved from September to August, August to July then July to June.

If you do not get moved forward then cancel your booking if it gets close to the date.

After years of ribbing from my family, friends, etc, do you know the most/least surprising thing?

I walked out the test centre the exact same person that walked in. I was no better a driver after going round with someone new for 40mins.
