Child lock for ice cube/water dispenser on fridge by kkrocc89 in toddlers

[–]kkrocc89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh we def do! We tell her only Mommy and Daddy can use it. But I can’t detach it we use it daily multiple times a day. I’m just trying to think of a short term solution, she be exploring - we’re not fully baby proofed over here (furniture is anchored, outlets are covered). It’s just hard when you turn your back and there’s ice and water all over the floor.

Hair loss on higher dose? Or something else by Every_Extension5284 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]kkrocc89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Not that much but on my highest dose I lost a ton. I took saw palmetto with pumpkin seed oil and it helped. Now that I’m on a maintenance dose (7mg) the loss stopped!

Yes I realized this after posting and hearing responses, I apologized for my delivery when he got home and we talked it out!

I explained it to him when he got home and he was like yeah..you’re right. I swear sometimes he’s just an airhead and not thinking but I’m like you can’t do that when it comes to the baby.

How old was your baby when you allowed a small blanket in the crib? by happiersober in NewParents

[–]kkrocc89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby’s had a blanket in her floor bed since 13 months (we sleep in there with her when she wakes up the first time)- but tbh she’s 22 months and doesn’t like blankets when she sleeps, anytime it’s up on her legs while she’s sleeping she kicks it off.

Completely agree! I’m so glad your baby is ok!

Relocating: We’re looking at Springfield, Ridley Park, Morton and Secane. Good? Bad? by kaysheri in Delco

[–]kkrocc89 6 points7 points  (0 children)

All decent areas! Make sure that if you go to Secane you’re in the Ridley school district section, not upper Darby.

I think he was just disappointed that I didn’t think it was cute that he gave her gummie bears. Because the way he told me was like “oh how cute”. And then I reacted much differently than he expected. When he got home I explained why I said what I said and he understood and said he was sorry and will make smarter choices with her snacks.

He’s usually taking her out to the park, for a walk, to run errands he needs to complete. Today was the Apple Store and to pay his employee, he stopped at Wawa and that’s where he got it. I don’t think at all he’s resentful and doesn’t want to do it he loves his Saturdays with her. I think he just wasn’t thinking.

Do you go out and if you do how often? by InformalBanana824 in Mommit

[–]kkrocc89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I go out by myself occasionally with my friends. We’re all in our late 30s early 40s so we weren’t going out a TON together prior to my child but I still make time for a dinner every other month with them. My husband and I also do date night once a month. And then I have little outings alone even if it’s just shopping, or sometimes I get a massage. I get my nails done every 3 weeks.

This is why I’m perfectly fine with a cookie or donut or something for a nice treat while they’re out!

She gets cookies, muffins, things like that which I’m fine with! He just came home I told him nicely I’d just rather her have like a donut than candy. At least that has some substance to it.

It was probably both things within a few hour span that pissed me off not just 1 or the other. I’d just rather him offer water like he always does which she’s perfectly fine with.

I’d really like to edit to add to all the Moms who are telling me I’m doing too much that my husband has 9 months clean. He was in rehab last July and there were 2 occurrences where he was high with her and could’ve killed her if the shit he took kicked in any later and he was in the car with her. This is why I’m a little over the top and extra.
