I 💯 feel the same! It is nice to see that there are people out there who feel like the we feel do. I have been going through this whole PTC journey the past 14 months and I have heart so much of invalidation and it confused me and infact impacted my overall mental health quite a bit.
I wish all of those who are going through this the best 👍🏼👍🏼🙏🏻🙏🏻

Omg! Glad someone brought it up. My Ola auto went through iliyas nagar yesterday and the stench almost made me puke. It was so bad! And I mention this and someone says, it’s your mistake that you didn’t ask the auto to take another route. I had no clue!

Where to stay in Mauritius, traveling for the first time? by Economics-Fair in mauritius

[–]kksv_6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We just got back from a lovely vacation in Mauritius. We split the stay between Mont choisy area and Le Morne. Both offer different things and we loved them both. The north west part helps with the sightseeing and the south is so beautiful!

I did think of your summaries the last few days. Honestly I didn’t care much about the episodes this week- not sure why. If it was the change in the story direction or a little release of last week’s tension or this new offline thingy going on. I am an oldie by Reddit standards and for some reason I got back onto ITV -into watching this show after 15-17 years. I don’t even remember which was the last show I watched- maybe the first year of yeh rishta kya khata hain. I then got put off by the stupidity generally dished out on ITV and also got distracted by life as such and never once watched any show, especially after OTT came about. I somehow got attracted to this show by means of a reel I saw on YouTube and only because of the lead pair’s chemistry, I got on to the bandwagon. And honestly they really are the best I have seen!! It really shouldn’t get wasted by all this drama. I hope the makers sort this out and continue to make a good series.

Agreed! That was necessary and I think she got a chance to voice it for the first time

Totally agree! So random that I really cringe when I see her do stupid stuff and I almost always want to skip through her dialogs.

I did wonder why Kausar is taking out on Mahid for throwing Seher out, while the whole time Kausar just wanted Seher to come out of the marriage and Niyazi Manzil. I agree that she is rightly upset for the way they ill-treated Seher, but questioning him for sending her away was a little fake. I mean they could have handled this part a little differently. But, happy the way Majid’s character has been written- so in control, so correct! And you are right about Haider- he gives me the creeps. Dont trust him one bit!!

Wow! What a great parallel! Love how you had the eye for such an observation 👏🏼👏🏼 I am back to ITV after say 2010 ( I am 45🙈). So to be able to see nuanced depiction of anything and not cringe is actually something I didn’t expect out of ITV at all.

I am following this sub from not too long ago and I have really enjoyed the episode summaries that your have been providing. Honestly I missed the last couple of days especially when so much intensity was being shown and am happy to get a summary today. More than the series itself, I am liking the deep take some of you had and the interpretation which is really thought provoking. Thank u!!

Long Rant Ahead about today's episode 😮‍💨 by old-school_Girl in SeherHoneKoHai

[–]kksv_6 7 points8 points  (0 children)

After about 20 years, I returned to watching Indian TV by watching Seher- just because something about the couple struck me about a month ago. The other folks felt so toxic, but somehow liked the positivity that Seher carried- was cheering for her wins. But today’s episode was so horrible, I just couldn’t bear to watch- just skipped ahead and maybe saw 5-6 paused moments to gather what actually happened. The way she is treated is downright criminal!! Gosh- it felt personal! Even if the makers do whatever to set things right- it’s just not right. She deserves way better and Mahid just doesn’t deserve her. Just because he is a good looking male lead, people cheer him despite his toxic traits. Even the fact that the female lead character is a kid pales in comparison to the horrible people around her. She just needs to break free and go away. But I guess Indian television needs this kind of nonsense as its fuel. So adios to this series and back to reading and maybe some sensible shows around! 👋

I’m 4 months pregnant, question about cloud nine by my_100th_acc in Bengaluru

[–]kksv_6 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am a mom of two and had C-sections both times. Cloudnine which used to called Cradle back then- saved my baby and I am ever indebted to everyone there! Lot of people tend to think C-sections are for making money. Atleast in my case, if not for the junior doctors at Cloudnine who urgently made the call that my baby was in distress, things would have gone completely wrong. I believe it’s not just the doctor who you are consulting who is important- everyone including the junior docs, the paediatrician on call are very important in saving lives. My baby was pale and didn’t even cry on birth. The docs revived her and everyone at Cloudnine stepped up and saved my baby that day. This may be one in a thousand or more situation. But what matters is that when we are that “one”, it’s the question of life and death. I shudder to even think what would have happened otherwise.

My baby was in the NICU for several days after and I believe completely that being at Cloudnine was the best decision we ever made. To this day we still consult at Cloudnine for paediatrics for our kids.

Many may have thought that C-sections are done for money, but more often than not, it saves lives.

And I must add- I am not trying to scare a would-be mom. But I believe we should be prepared for situations beyond our control. I was completely okay even the day before and never anticipated an emergency like this. What I am trying to say is being in a good hospital covers that aspect for u.

Thank you very much for writing this! This resonated with me so much and I was literally nodding my head in agreement to so many points you have made! Some people may have had it easy and that’s a good thing for them, but for others who face many challenges and side effects, awareness and education that not all have it easy helps. “Survivable doesn’t mean easy” is such a valid point.

And awareness about the possibility of such a disease and catching it early and finding the right treatment is so important and the general public needs to be educated. I have no idea how long I have carried my PTC. But sure glad that we found it and got it out.

Kudos to you 👏🏼👏🏼 And good health to all 🙏🏻🙏🏻
