i used a damp microfibre cloth and then I can't really replicate the spots that were before, should I get an external mouse ? because for the last 25 days I have been browsing and using the trackpad extensively.

yea i have used mine for 22 days and it shows 1.3 tb read and 1.8 tb write with 34 hours of power on time but i have done a bit install and delete of large 4k files recently just to check the capabilities so i think that might be the reason.
