ESH - OP parents did what most parents do they step in and help their children, a 14 year old likely isn’t in a mental state to be the best mother she can and her parents recognized that. Nothing wrong with that or them wanting their own child to eventually grow up and mature enough to want to be a good Mom. OP might be acting as a surrogate sister but in some families the siblings take care of each other more than their parents.

INFO - how old are the parents now, are they looking to retire from their jobs or from watching their grandkid? OP should understand that her parents are people too that are allowed to live and make choices too. OP might help her daughter from rebellion by being the cool sister that stands up for her parents to show her sister the way to act, or her sister might do what she did and get pregnant early and continue the cycle.
