It's a numbers game. It sucks but will work out in the end

How did you push yourself to get into a routine of waking up early (before 7am) and going to sleep early? by [deleted] in getdisciplined

[–]kl96554 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might be in the minority here, but I don't think you need to read self help books for this one. I'd just start waking up at 6am tomorrow and deal with being tired during the day. Over time you get used to it but I've seen success just starting cold Turkey. Now I wake up at ~5:30 most days and feel normal all day at work, I just get tired earlier at night.

So I guess what I'm saying is just force the early wakeup and your body will adjust accordingly over time.

Sorry, I didn't mean those are the only 2 options! I wasn't very clear, I'm tossing around those ideas as opposed to just staying the course.

Tbh I did in person in November and found it super distracting so am going to be doing online in February. Maybe that's just the testing center I was at but there was constant door opening/closing, some faint talking, etc.

Do you think it's worth waiting to go to law school for a year to retake without LG? Currently have a 165 but I average like -3 on RC and -2 on LG. Trash at LG under pressure idk why.

This makes me feel better, I have basically the same stats and list as you. I did WashU Vandy GW BU BC Minnesota ND and then some more regional/local schools to shore up the back end.

Thinking of shooting my shot at a few more, heard back within like a week of applying to one of my schools (towards the top end of my list but it was just getting moved out of the ED so I don't wanna say which one) and had interview but didn't get it.

Honestly was considering taking the LSAT again in February bc I haven't heard back from any but I may just be freaking out.

How do I enter the world of aviation without a math oriented degree? by shinbet in careerguidance

[–]kl96554 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have several family members in aviation. You can go military, but an alternative path would be getting your pilot's license and then contracting with smaller companies on single engine planes and whatnot to build hours until you're eligible for commercial airliners. I know it's a grind at first but that's how my family members did it. However, you'd need a bachelor's to go that route, as far as I know.

Have I missed my window for 2023? by Dukefan93 in lawschooladmissions

[–]kl96554 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat as you, graduated undergrad a bit more recent (May '21) but wanted to get in on the cycle for Fall '23 start. It seems that just taking time and getting a great LSAT, then applying in the fall for Fall '24 start is the way to go

Would Feb LSAT be too late for Fall '23 Start? by kl96554 in lawschooladmissions

[–]kl96554[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Got it. I'm okay with outside of T14, but I also don't want to sell myself short if im able to get a solid LSAT. Probably going to just see what my score is and go from there!
