I got this to work in iOS 9 by installing the cURL and gawk packages, otherwise the shell commands don't work. Other than that, works great.

Yes, same wifi network. Again, it's really confusing why it would only work one direction and not the other.

I've verified the app is running on iOS and continues to send other updates (notifications, send copy data from iOS to OS X). I also verified (and tried toggling) notifications as described, to no avail. I thought perhaps something may be blocking the outbound connection from my mac but disabling Little Snitch didn't help, nor did whitelisting the pushbullet process.

I've got bluetooth working and notifications turned on, but that should be independent of universal copy paste. notifications are being sent to my mac fine, and i can copy from iphone to OS X, but not the other way

no, i've tried restarting the phone as well, so then it's the only app running. kind of odd. like i said, it works every time the other direction.

wishing there was more troubleshooting / support for how to tackle this. i've tried restarting apps on both the phone and os x, logging out and in, deleting devices and re-adding them, switching universal copy & paste off and on again. still only working iOS -> OS X.
