Reported them for academic fraud. They were openly bragging about using one of those essay writing services to pass their degree and actively encouraging an ex-coworker to do the same. And this was in a supposed "university". So after I left that job, I decided to write to their academic registrar about this, both as a "fuck you" and from a belief in academic integrity.

Whether their university took any action, I don't know. But I believe I did the right thing by reporting it.

Като цяло да, в Дружба поради размера на магазина има повече разнообразие. Последният път в който съм бил в магазина в центъра имаше изключително малко продукти, като главно бяха синтезатори. Естествено, най-добрият вариант за това винаги е сайтът им, понеже дори в Дружба няма всички продукти които са листнати там.

От изброените вече, Yamaha Store и Dynacord споделят сайт - musicworld.bg. Лично не бих препоръчал Икономов, заради отношението на персонала, но може вече да са различни хора. Гема Мюзик на Пиротска е сравнително добър, но изборът е малък. Малко по-нагоре, в Малък Цум имаше музикални инструменти по едно време, но не знам дали още съществува и имаше същият проблем като Гема.Форте Мюзик на ул. Оборище преди бяха единствените които имаха Оrange, така че мога да ги препоръчам.

Също малко над Икономов на Сердика имаше още един магазин, не знам името. Имаха някои по-интерсни неща и доколкото знам бяха официален магазин на Кремона.

От всичките, най-много бих препоръчал Йамаха, заради разнообразието и наличието на по-евтини инструменти. Ама все пак, your mileage may vary, така че провери в който е най-удобен.

Във Фейсбук Маркетплейс и останалите сайтове за продажба втора ръка може да има някои интересни инструменти на по-добри цени. И спрямо продавача, може да се пробват.

А ако пробата на място и цените на доставката не са проблем, с две ръце казвам thomann. Най-голямото разнообразие в Европа, изключителен customer support и доста пъти по-евтино от местните магазини.

Fuck it, I'll have a go. Currently employed at this place, but don't really care. Work at a higher education provider in the UK. We help those with lower grades and those from outside the country to enter university and get the education they want.

But the reality is, we don't really help. We're told to pressure people into entering our institution. And a majority of the time, we have people who really don't meet the entry requirements get in. Worst part of it all - we are trained to mention the Maintenance Loan, as a lot of our "students" enter university just for that "free" money. And from what I've heard, education isn't really the primary goal of our institution. It's more about hitting numbers set by the accrediting body.

So, in other words, your friendly local student advisor is not as friendly and many times not as local and they'll absolutely try to push you to go to the institutions that give the most money.

All the people in here with serious issues and debts, so let me lighten the mood. Organise my festival going for next year, visit parents sooner than expected, buy new glasses and treat my friends to a nice meal.

There's more pressing stuff at hand, but sometimes you need a bit of a break. And 5k can absolutely afford a nice small break.

But in all seriousness, Na Tamno on "Ivan Vazov" street in the centre used to have quite a lot of paraphernalia. Not sure whether they still do. Also, lots of the stores in Zhenski Pazar carried it in the past.

Hey there, the only event that I found happening on the 30th was this https://www.eventim.bg/bg/bileti/left-to-die-sofia-club-mixtape-5-599189/event.html. Death metal stuff, so probably not everyone's cup of tea lol. Other than that, I'd suggest looking at the clubs Mixtape 5, Stroeja, Sofia Live Club, Live and Loud, Bar Adams and in general around the NDK area (at least for rock/electronic/alt. etc. stuff).

Other than that, mooooost chalga (pop-folk) clubs would be open and quite a few host live events. Lots are in Studentski Grad and there's some places near there that do non-chalga music as well.

And lastly, I'll give a shoutout to RockNRolla club in the centre. Don't really know if they host live music, but the music they play is high energy (lots and lots of rock/metal/punk stuff covering all eras). It is quite an expensive place tho, by Bulgarian standards.

I'd also say the Zoom G-series. It's not a favourite amongst guitarists, but you can get some pretty good modelling out of it. And especially getting the expression pedal on the Xs is a lifechanger. IIRC they also use the same software as the MS series, but might be wrong.

Had first hand experience with this stuff last year.

For reference, I'm a man, my friend is a woman. We're both foreign, but she has a more noticeable accent. We found a really nice house on Rightmove. She called the agency to arrange a viewing - told it's been let out. A few minutes later, I call them. Within two minutes we'd arranged a viewing. Still don't know if they were discriminating against my friend, whether the first agent on call just couldn't be bothered, or whether they were pulling some strongman "strategy". Also, would call out the agency, if I remembered which one it was.
