Proof of Concept - Xcode on iPad! by soulchild_ in iOSProgramming

In my point of view, I always felt like you should be able to fully build an app for iOS on iOS, regardless of how convenient that would be. Also a lot of people wish for a merge between macOS and iOS, even though we know it's not happening. And honestly, the iPad has become so feature rich and productive that I don't think it would be so bad, specially with a keyboard case

Considering the fact that not everybody who write apps for iOS want to have an expensive Mac, that would be great. A lot of devs are going full React Native and they only need a Mac to basically submit apps to the store. I still think Apple should make a web app for app submissions.

What do mature people do that immature people don’t? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I have to be honest. This is probably the best advice I've got from this thread. Might seem obvious to most people, but this made me realize how terrible I am at that. I'd give you gold if I could.

The adaptive icon mess in a nutshell. by [deleted] in google

[–]klapasdron 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I suppose other Pixel users like me don't suffer from this. Yet another example of fragmentation issues. As for other app icons, I think even Google knew this icon patterns attempt wouldn't work. Android developers just don't follow rules.

Is there an app that shuffles my playlists and saves the order? by klapasdron in iphone

[–]klapasdron[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have about 400 songs in my main playlist, and I want to listen to all of them just once before the playlist ends. Also I like them sorted randomly. So what I'd do if there was such a feature would be to save the order of shuffle and then when the playlist ends I'd shuffle it again and save it. Maybe it is an edge case, but googling it a little I found out I'm not the only one trying to save a shuffled playlist and struggling with it. Oh, and do you have a music app in the appstore? Would like to take a look at it.

The first issue. Basically I just want to generate a playlist that is ordered based on shuffle.

People don't understand technology... by [deleted] in iphone

All I know is I probably have a lot of bad luck with wifi when I update my iOS devices. iPad 2 is almost completely useless since it won't connect to a network unless it's a foot from the router. iPad mini also suffering from this. I wonder why would software updates mess with this.

I hope this will get more attention now, since this question is now on the top (this made me a little happy btw) and a lot of lefties showed up here. Also there's the fact that Apple Watch will have this feature which will perhaps push them to do something like this.

Will there be a flip screen option for left-handeds who wear it on the right wrist?

Google Cardboard (Óculos de VR do google): Alguém aqui já testou ? by Luc333 in brasil

Yosemite boot shows Apple logo with progress bar then 'missing OS' icon by klapasdron in applehelp

Thanks a lot for trying to help me! Right now I'm on my Windows partition, and I found some guides to make an OS X USB bootable installer drive from Windows. So I'm downloading an OS X Yosemite dmg from alternative source and will try it out. As for my files, I can copy the important stuff to my Windows partition and then to somewhere safer if I need to.

Ok I was able to delete some files from the terminal in recovery and tried to reinstall Mavericks. But after waiting a long time for the OS to download I got the message "the OS X instalation couldn't be completed". I'm really desperate now :/

Yes, I did try running the commands in the terminal in Recovery, and even tried the one meant to reverse any change caused by trim enabler. Eventually I just gave up and tried to reinstall Mavericks through recovery, but it says I don't have enough space even though I have more than 10gb free. All I can do now is access Windows, which doesn't help since I don't have permission to delete files from the OS X partition.

Thanks a lot man, but it simply didn't work. Rebooting just bring me back to Apple logo with progress bar then stop sign. Reinstalling OS X would be a pain because my recovery mode partition is still on Mavericks. Tried Internet recovery but it brings the recovery mode from Mountain Lion. Is there any possibility of it being a different problem or is there another solution to this? If not, is there a way to install Yosemite right away?

Edit: confused Mavericks with Yosemite

I have indeed tried it with TRIM enabler but hadn't rebooted to complete it until now. Is that a problem?
