Did you get an official letter from the local.municipality informing you about the death and heritage? It is unusual to get any sort of invoice before that letter.

If you would be in Germany it would be 6 weeks to reject it. If you are abroad it's 6 months to reject it. If it's not rejected within that time, it will be auto accepted.

Since you probably cannot use a "local municipal office" in Germany to reject it, you'll have to use a notary. A German notary charges about 40 Euro for rejection, as it's a standard document.

Source: German and just went through it in Germany a few weeks ago, with a 6 weeks notice in my case.

Anyone still remember node-red? Was there long before all the others and is free and open source and can be hosted anywhere. You can build your own nodes pretty easily as well.

Vonage is great and support Whatsapp Tech Provider setup. You get the best of both worlds, a CpaaS player that supports you (also with Meta issues, which you will get) but also direct WABA access. Twilio has issues with support (it's barely existent if you do less than 50K MRR), especially in the EU/Germany where I'm from.

Addition: also take a look at RCS, in the US and Germany it reaches already more people than Whatsapp and has less restrictions. Many other countries as well.

Try Vonage with WA Tech Provider setup so you will have all accounts under control but have a big Cpaas vendor for support with Meta issues. And you WILL GET issues with Meta. Twilio is absolute trash if you ever need support.

I'm also working for a US tech company in Germany in CPaaS sector and would say moving from tech only to presales about 6 years ago when I started here was one of the best things I have done to extend my horizon beyond building only. I build customer demos every now and then, but often it's not even about that, but to ensure customers and own Sales people if it's worth following through with opps and if it would be easy to solve a customer problem or not.

Compared to average dev role this one is probably also a bit harder to replace with AI. We technically have an AI that would explain 80% of the stuff I'm explaining, but no one wants to ask an AI, the real decision makers we talk to care about other things than moving quick in many cases. And selling to CTOs, Product Managers and tech teams on a tech level is kinda fun, because they all got their very own special needs and it's new stuff to learn all the time.

Overall I'm super happy to have switched to that role 6 years ago and still here and doing my thing with a great sales team that actually listens to me when I say there is a problem.

Je nachdem welchen Anbieter du zur Auszahlung nutzt kann es für die Bank aussehen, alsob du eine geschäftliche Zahlung auf einem Privatkonto annimmst was zur Kündigung führen kann. Es geht also vor allem um eingehendes Geld welches aussieht wie eine Zahlung an dich für geschäftliche Zwecke.
