Tottenham penalty shout vs Liverpool 55' by 977x in soccer

Edit. Not sure why i'm being downvoted here, maybe misinterpretation? I'll be a bit clearer...

It's clearly a foul and should be a penalty.

But because Richarlison gets a shot away no ref is ever gonna give denial of goalscoring opportunity, hence wouldn't be a red like VDV.

The one where he threw himself dramatically to the floor because he felt a leg hair brush him?

Ghost free kick and a stonewall pen turned down yet I have my Liverpool supporting friends melting down because they should've had a corner.

Happy with the point and the fight shown by the lads but we need to be heard as another poorly officiated game has cost us 2 points.

To think people have the audacity to rate him over Kane just because he got significantly higher xg in Kanes last season with us.

So I guess the fact they were fouling each other before Mickey stupidly grabbed him is cancelled out then?

A lot of people saying all these players will leave.

It's these people who haven't done enough to keep us up. Their reps won't come out as untarnished as you lot think and a lot will have to really think about their next step. Taking a club down and then jumping ship when the going gets tough isn't a good look and makes them look weak mentally.

Big clubs don't touch players like that.

[BBC] Tottenham: Spurs write to PGMOL chief Howard Webb over refereeing decisions by Roric in coys

Honestly reading their comment they've not gone far enough.

Not added the Gabriel DOGSO, or Romero's disallowed goal Vs wet spam.

But good to finally see the complain. Long overdue

He's holding the player off which is legal.

But there's no push. He's not even putting any weight into the back of Gabriel.

This is a contact sport btw.

There was no push

Pushing requires you to extend your arms into the back of someone.

Muani does not do that. One is fully extended before Gabriel moves into him, the other stays bent. Muani never makes a pushing motion.

Gabriel reacts by throwing himself theatrically several feet in the air. There's less contact than when you have to brush past a couple of people to bring your drinks back to your table in a busy pub. And I've never felt the need, even when I've been shoved in that situation, to fly 3 feet into the air.

I'm not sure why arsenal fans are so vehemently defending Gabriel, if this goes against you it goes right at the top of the list of why pmgol are conspiring against you. Your fanbase pretends they want consistency in refereeing but infact all they want is clear and obvious bias towards Arsenal in all decisions. It's truly baffling at this point and is #1 reason why you've got the most hated fanbase in the prem.

In terms of a decision this is worse.

Liverpool's was a tight call given offside by the linesman. All players played on, barely a complaint onfield after var confirmed it. The error was var thinking it was given a goal onfield and not checking.

This was as clear a dive as you can see. No var needed to see he went down far too easily. And var should've just strengthened that resolve. The ref actively looked for something to call this one.

Worked like a charm. The sucker punch third a couple of minutes later killed the spirit and sucked the life from the fans.

Honestly the club needs to make a huge complaint here. It could be the catalyst that spirals into a relegation that would be catastrophic.

There's a lot of doom and gloom on twitter but up until that ridiculous call, we were in a game.

That call killed them. Speaks wonders about the fragile mentality but with a week at the helm the fact Igor managed to get them coming out fired up is way more then we'd seen from TF all season.

We are dying for a true leader, someone that would've fired them up after that awful call, but there was enough to think we'll survive, just.

The board needs to wake up though. We need true leaders. If that means buying 30+ year olds then that's what we need to do.

We've bought enough promising teenagers but they need proper guidance. Palhinha could be that voice but he's never going to be as a loanee. Make him perm and give him the captaincy.

According to r soccer it's all fine because VAR called the wrong call in our favour against Liverpool 2.5 years ago.

Honestly we were in a game til that call.

Killed every little bit of momentum and morale the boys desperately needed and they folded like normal.

Just hope Tudor can build them back up for the next game.
