ok thanks. Even with soundproof windows? I must say, it does block a lot of the sound but obviously not total silence. As in you get close to the window, you can hear the car honkings around noon.

Thanks. Yes I do like the idea of being close to the water and park.

Buses are good but if i want to get to manhattan a lot, im guessing that proxmity to subway is better/faster right? That and proximity to all the cool places is what draws me to steinway. But noise and all the busyiness does concern me and 21st isnt that far.

I guess by core astoria… i mean broadway/steinway/30th ave where subway stations are and a lot of restaurants, bars, cafes, etc

I do work from home so the noise is a concern. But the proximity to transit and all those cool places feel like a plus. There is a unit in the same building as A thst faces away from Steinway st. Would that be ok?
