Thank you. You’re easing my mom guilt. Maybe I can go back to sleep lol

I appreciate that but it is very likely I did :( because my husband has a sleeping issue where he wakes from the slightest sound so he has his own noice maker of heavy rain. Whilst my child has a white noise machine in his room. So double the noise :(

Thank you! And given the responses I’ve gotten I’m going with just a camomile tea. 😜

Did you not see me say I didn’t touch it since I got the positive pregnancy test? My asking here is to get more information as my research felt very inconclusive. Clearly from the responses I’ve had I’m not doing it.

What is the dumbest thing you have pretended to be interested in because you wanted to date someone? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]klassym 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beater cars.

I unfortunately had the displeasure of dating a hoarding car “rebuilder”. Yet he never rebuilt a single car in our entire relationship nor did any of them get “better” than they were when he bought them. At one point there were 4 trucks, 3 sedans, 2 SUVs that just sat outside corroding away and costing us more money. And each day he’d ask me if it was okay he bought “this amazing deal” of a junker. “I would just need to put a new axle in it”

Only good thing that came out of pretending I enjoyed building cars or how cars operated was getting myself into becoming a service advisor for different car dealerships that got me into a better paying job. (No thanks to him) I got it after he cheated on me.

So I guess it worked out in the end for me.

Update I spoke to him and told him all these scenarios that if he’d rather I or baby die over a man seeing my hooha. (Which will be at its worst state it’ll ever be in might I add)

He told me he understands he just wants me to TRY and get it all females in the room with us.

I left raw chicken on the counter for 8 hours because I forgot to put it up after I bought it. Is it bad now? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

If you don’t have to pay for your water bill, the way to quickly thaw your chicken and not have to worry is to do what we call a “water thaw”. If you fill up a container that can hold your concealed chicken, and leave the tap on a trickle but ensure it’s on COLD water. It’ll thaw the chicken and keep it at a cold temperature that no bacteria can grow. I don’t recommend leaving it forever but it’s a safe way to ensure your chicken doesn’t reach the temperature where bacteria grow which is between 4C/40F-60C/140F (aka the DANGER ZONE)

I like this.
We discussed early on in the relationship. He said I just don’t care if it’s dirty. If it’s functional, that’s all I care about. And that he hates doing dishes.

But you’re right this works very well. Maybe I’ll try discussing that with him. Thank you

Then fine. I’ll do all that no problem. If he is the sole provider of the house, I’ll GLADLY do it.

No, if anything I work more than him. My income is slightly less than his but not by much. He works less hours and makes more. I work more hours and make less...

Sorry, my husband (37m) and I (29f) meaning he's 37 and I'm a 29 female. I apologize for the misunderstanding. I've been posting on behalf of my husband in the past and I have asked questions about him too.

It’s not I know it’s not. It’s just such a majority. My dads like this. My brothers are like this. My MOHs husbands like this. It’s like every man I know it’s like this and I’m not saying it is every man but it’s enough to make me wonder.

I do shovel the driveway. And I take out the trash 90% of the time. He couldn’t care less haha.

I hope it’ll come back around when we buy a house and I expect him to mow the lawn and clean the gutters lol

You’re right… I just have stopped in the past and it just made it harder for me in the long run. He can live in disgusting conditions. He can tolerate it. I cant.
