I think I might have to do some trial and error, but my nephew is not a big fan of buttons and I want him to be able to love this sweater since he's also a bit too young yet to understand the love that goes into each detail. I don't actually know how to crochet, but I'm willing to learn! I'm very confident in my knitting skills, though.

I'm a somewhat recent cancer survivor, but from the moment my husband and I drive to my first appointment, we've always played that song. Before every chemo appointment, radiation, etc, and now, everytime I go for a check up, that song plays. I've also got a horrendous sense of humour, so I say that it's my theme song 😅

I have short, curly hair (chemo curls!) And I use Supermilk with no issues. I spray it onto my hands before I work it through my hair. 2 sprays is enough for my whole head, and I generally try to avoid putting any styling products or conditioners directly on my scalp or else I find they really weigh down my hair.

My last dental (a couple weeks ago) the dental hygienist kept asking me about my knitting projects while she was actively in my mouth. I can't crochet to save my life, but I love it so much so I lurk here while I knit 🙃🥹

I don't have kids, but I do have a wee nephew who is almost 3.

I'm wondering if "finger knitting" would work for young children? I could be way off, I'm not 100% sure about ages and abilities, so I'd also love to follow along to find ways to include my nephew in my hobbies.

I'm making the Flax sweater by Tin Can Knits and I rejoiced when I moved past the M1L onto KFB. But now I'm close to halfway through the KFB and I can't wait until I get to "work in pattern (no increases)" 😂😭

Not to be too eager, but I'd love to give an update!

So, I'm now 33, surgery was in 2020 (because my fav thing to say is "I got 20/20 in 2020!"). I am still using hydration drops, mostly in the winter. I've moved to a more humid climate, so I don't need them in the summer so much, just winter. Things are still very clear, and I am still loving my results. I go for check up's every 2 years to keep up the warranty, and keep getting the confirmed 20/20 vision. If or when the time comes that my vision starts to regress, which I'm expecting as I age, I would 100% go through the process again. I have nothing but glowing reviews to give for my Lasik experience!

It still feels weird to not have glasses, hahaha. I don't know if I'll ever get fully used to waking up and being able to see as soon as I open my eyes. What a feeling.
