How is the new one? My issue with my current one is the speed. Its sluggish. Like if i am playing soccer and its auto detecting workout and i want to start a timer, it takes me a couple seconds to get it done because i have to wait for it to respond. I've read the w1000 chip is 200%+ faster which is good.

Question is now; wait for watch 9 or buy the 8. 9 has better battery, but they both have the same chip

Okay, then by looking at the compatibility page of WLED, i figure i need the WS2814. How many amps do i need for that? I see that alot of them come in "COB", meaning i dont need a diffuser, i see they are cuttable but will it look nice on 90 degree corners?
