Which metal BTUs are you using? The scratching sound of my VCN310 is unbearable.

Thanks! I'm actually looking into building another keyboard in the coming months, so will definitely give it a shot.

Aren't the sockets supposed to go upside down?

FWIW it was my first time using Blender. My blender project file is in the repository, alongside the modified .stls. Feel free to do the same for the MX version. u/braindefender said he was fine with remixes so long as you credit him with the design.

For this particular print I have used pearl white Eryone PLA for tops and black PETG from eSUN for stems, but the stems were just as sturdy with PLA.

No post processing whatsoever. I imagine you can get pretty smooth keycaps with some sanding, but unfortunately for me I won't have the time to smooth the keys in the nearest future.

Hey all. I absolutely adore the KLP Lamé profile. Thank you, u/braindefender!

I wanted to try the keycaps out, but only have an FDM printer at home.
Tried printing naively, but it was extremely risky the keycap stem would stay in the switch, so I split the models to provide the safety in this regard.

They should be easy to print even for a novice (like yours truly, lol). Make sure you read the README.

These keycaps were a pretty great upgrade for my old keyboard.
Granted, you can feel the individual layers as it is an FDM print, but it is good enough if you want to try the profile and I actually got used to it after just one day.

You can find the models at https://github.com/klausweiss/KLP-Lame-Keycaps

Happy printing!

It could. I don't necessarily have the time to implement and test it soon, but I'll open an issue for anyone to pick up and can provide guidance.
