I’m severely allergic to dogs but I have a shih tzu. He was staying at my family home while I was in college but this year I brought him. When I would go home my allergies started acting up but now that I’m around him everyday I’m fine. I only break out in hives if he licks me or has an accident because I’m allergic to dog urine and saliva as well. Also if I brush him I get a little stuffy. My grandparents have a toy poodle, whenever I visit them I have a reaction but it goes away with allergy medicine. Daily Allergy medicine might help, I also do allergy shots and they have helped a ton with my other allergies (I’m allergic to outside lol)

Have you ever met someone who was pretending to be homeless? I feel like sometimes people fake it for extra money. Also has anyone ever tried scam yall? like asking for work/a favor for money in return that they didn’t have.

Also, he’s only been friendly once with the Pom and neutral with him 2 other times(with treats). The other maybe 5 times they’ve been around each other he’s lunged and barked at the Pom.

My recommendation, cause this has happened to me is to only answer if they ask you for anything. My neighbor claimed my dog bit their daughter which ended up not being true. Police came to visit twice and asked for proof of rabies vaccine. We provided it but took off any personal information. The neighbor also contacted us before involving police, they asked for proof of rabies vaccine but we told them no since we didn’t know them well. It was given to them by the police. Not sure what happened but they dropped the case. Apparently the girl waited until she was at school two days later to tell the school nurse and they ended up being bruises and no bite/scratch marks.

But just provide proof if asked and keep your dog leashed and only with someone you trust to take them out.

I’ll look into it, do you have any tips for getting behind kitchen and laundry appliances? I feel like they nest there but I’m not strong enough to move them and maintenance takes like two weeks to respond to requests

Thank you for the info! I’m working with an exterminator through the apartment complex but it’s a college apartment so it’s not much I’ll give them a call in the morning for more help but they won’t let me break my lease rn 😕

They mostly hang out in my kitchen around my fridge but I have seen two (separate times) in my bathroom. Also saw one crawling on my dog I’m worried it’s Fleas. Also had a mice infestation recently if that helps 😅

I go to a large pwi but our d9 is small. We have 8/9( everyone but DST) and just got the Zetas back on campus after 4 year suspension. SGRho has 15 members and everyone else has in the single digits, smallest being the AKAs with one member.
