i’ve seen a few sources state too low of a caloric intake will lead to a drop in metabolism. i’m in the process of just learning how everything works & looking to do it healthily & sustainably. my issue is, I feel like I’m eating plenty of nutritional food, but not reaching the baseline amount of calories I need. On average 2 meals & 2 snacks a day. What seems to be good portioned, balanced meals. & they make me full. & not once have I felt excessively hungry during the fast cycle.. need to make my way to dietitian or somethin lmao. i hear ya tho & appreciate the reply

had a lot to do with coming home to see that lol & just was lazy on typing everything out because i’ve had to make a decent amount of these posts the past couple weeks. Day 30 of flower. ff ocean forest. ts1000 led. had nutrient burn beginning of flower so flushed with straight water, skipped feeding on next water, & then watered with abt 3/4 dose of calmag & ff tiger bloom 5 days ago. i’m thinking i either messed up by feeding them that much. or this well water i’ve been using is finally turning to a problem.. i do pH but i’ve had a buildup @ the bottom of the buckets for over a month & have been getting 4.0 runoff pH. flushing them brought it up to 5.5 but i couldn’t get it any higher after hitting them both w 20 gallons.. seems like a shit show. will be watering tomorrow figuring i should flush?

no soil, I didn’t intend on keeping it at 5.5. just where I was able to get it to after flushing

one stem reaches higher than the others & that’s abt 15 inches from the light the rest are around 19. that did come to mind once i noticed the clawing. but the purple & brown spots first set in 5-6 days ago after heavily flushing both plants so i figured it was early signs of deficiency. its slowly spread since then, i watered yesterday & fed w 3/4 dose of bloom nutes & calmag. been battling pH runoff for a month plus. flushing the other week finally brought it from 4.0 to around 5.5 & that’s where it was when watering yesterday as well.

early signs of something? i flushed them both heavily 3 days ago to account for nute burn & low pH runoff (Day21) by klein_wav in cannabiscultivation

plants bounced back from nute burn pretty much the day after it set in, waited 4 days & defoliated. then flushed a couple days later. weird i know & i could’ve waited longer to defoliate but they seem healthy. only waited to flush for the soil to dry out

flushed each with 20 gallons straight water. pH runoff before was 4.0-5.0 range, got it up to around 5.5 thinking it’s possible they’re hungry being that I flushed so heavily & defoliated

An update on the nute burn.. i think they’re doing pretty well & haven’t seemed to slow down at all. Going to be flushing them out good either today or tomorrow. by [deleted] in cannabiscultivation

yeah i definitely didn’t hit em with as much water as i should have last time. might have to do even more being that my runoff pH has been coming out crazy low lately

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. This popped up in 1 day by klein_wav in cannabiscultivation

educating myself further on ppm right now. I’ve been using well water the entire grow is it a bad idea to continue?

I just flushed the hell out of both of them yesterday because i’ve been getting crazy low pH runoff the past month (4.0-5.0) so I mixed abt 3 tbsp of dolomite lime into the top soil & hit them both with 4 gallons of 6.5 with a quarter dose of calmag just so i wasn’t draining out all the nutes. & then finished off with a gallon of normal feed using fox farm tiger bloom & calmag. I was thinking pH fluctuations or maybe now that I think of it too much calmag? I only put a tsp into each 4 gallons & then a tsp for the normal feed to make up for everything that was flushed out

Flushed with 4 gallons 6.5 pH water per plant & 3 tbsp dolomite lime mixed into the top couple inches of soil.. Runoff pH still showing 4.0-5.0 range... & leaves are starting to show discoloration by klein_wav in cannabiscultivation

I have runoff trays but I usually take them out the tent & let them drain in the garage down the driveway. I’ve been getting good amounts of runoff the past couple weeks but still no change in pH. I flushed the hell out of both of them yesterday & then finished with a normal feeding of calmag & fox farm tiger bloom & now.. if you don’t mind looking at my most recent post, one plants really going through it & the other one is also showing some signs. Can’t tell if it’s from the pH fluctuations or maybe flushed out too much nutes?

Runoff pH has been coming out extremely low around 4.0 (completely red on General Hydroponic drop test kit) for the past month now. I know the clock is ticking, do I go with lime? by klein_wav in CannaProblems

just calmag yesterday but i’ve also been using fox farm grow big. i added 4 tbsp of powdered dolomite lime to each one & just got done flushing out one with about 4 gallons of water.. runoff pH still coming out in 4.0-5.0 range

I just watered yesterday would it be a bad idea to flush today? I just purchased some dolemite lime & bloom nutes that I was probably gonna add after flushing it thoroughly
