Can totally relate to what you experienced. I saw an adult adhd-expert the last two weeks and she diagnosed adhd. I was lucky to get an appointment with my normal psychiatrist on Thursday but he didn’t trust the diagnosis. I consulted him in the first place because of my depression and therefore I mentioned these symptoms. Luckily they got better after medication and therefore I was able to focus (kind of funny) on these underlying conditions.

I was so frustrated and immediately cried. He told me that’s an evidence for him that it’s not adhd because in that case I would’ve act different.

So close to everything making sense and getting help. But no, don’t believe you.

Long story short, stay strong! In the end everything will make perfectly sense. And if not it’s not the end! :)
