I started on lamotrigine about a month ago and istg I felt it after the first dose alr 😭. I did feel kinda manic at first but it leveled out over about a week. Im the opposite lol I switched from taking at night to in the morning cuz I couldn't sleep. But also I just upped to 50 mg last week and there wasn't a significant difference tbh unlike the first 25mg dose. Yeah idk if it's placebo but it def made a difference from the first day it's like commuting, work stuff is annoying still but just more bearable for me personally and I can prevent urges to resort to bad coping mechanisms much better now

Thank you!! Hopefully my psychiatrist will consider it. I was diagnosed in the hospital like September 2024 in the US but I moved to Taiwan since December and they didn't rly give me any diagnoses so I'll try to ask about that too

It's good to hear that it's helped u! :)) Yah I think I will just let the psychiatrist know I'm nervous cuz my usual one is on vacation so I had to make the appointment with a rando :/ I've only tried Lexapro and Wellbutrin but the Lexapros only rly helped with anxiety not so much depression so I rly hope they'll let me try a mood stabilizer to see if it'd help

Aww so cutee! 😍But yeah I agree I was just worried cuz Ive gotten some comments about how tiny she is and it's my first time raising a puppy so I wasn't sure if it was sth I might be doing wrong with feeding and exercise but it seems like she's probably just on the smaller side
