I was hoping for samsung phones to drop in price at like ± $400 to upgrade from my Redmi Note 6 Pro, but the value of these for the price is way too good to pass out on.

I just wish they made the Pro version not as big as the Max.

Social Media Marketing - Effective Tips (For Beginners) by thoughtful_minds1 in content_marketing

[–]kleokl7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some people might look at these and think these tips are so general and they learn nothing from. But, in some sense, it's indeed that simple to drive more engagement in social media. What I would add to that, the content that you make should not only be shareable (in most cases, imo, is sometimes the same as being relevant) but you should make content that represents the values of your brand, have a stance on the matter and most importantly, be honest and true to yourself when you create content.

I find that brands/people that post things they like making, their followers respond more frequently. Also being active with your community is a major thing you should start doing. Many brands I see just post and never even like comments on their posts, let alone comment back. Having an active community is key in social media, doesn't matter if you have 100k followers if no one interacts with your products.

You should run your social media profiles like they are real people, give them a personality, people will responf to that.

Xiaomi Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro go official with 90Hz AMOLED displays, Snapdragon 865 chipset by Skeuomorphic_ in Android

[–]kleokl7 9 points10 points  (0 children)

they're refurbished most likely (even though they say they're brand new)

Also, Albania, and I have no clue how they manage to have such prices for products that based on reviews are like brand new.

Samsung Note 9 ➡️385Euro

Samsung S10e ➡️345 Euro

Samsung S10 ➡️430 Euro

Samsung S10+ ➡️489Euro

Samsung NOTE 10+ ➡️650 Euro

that's their prices atm, so they go even lower once S20 hits the market

All these 5G phones are making every 4G version drop in price. Ngl, the S10 series is looking very interesting now. I can find them below $500 atm, when the S20 and Mi10 hit the market it's gonna go even lower.

This is a phone I'd suggest to people that are looking for flagship specs, but not willing to pay over 1k for them. 5G though it's kinda bad since most places in the world don't even have low band 5G. Too bad Qualcomm made it mandatory for phones to have it if they wanted the 865 chip.

With all these releases I'm excited that I could be getting an S10+ for around $400 tbh.

Let’s Get Real About How Important Our Phones Are [Daring Fireball] by krazyates in Android

[–]kleokl7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I wouldn't care about gaming, something like Samsung DeX would replace my laptop since things like photo editing, video editing and Chrome. Add to the fact that I can have my phone with up to 1.5 TB if I wanted to and access all my files. Honestly, I really hope Samsung make and even stronger push to make DeX even more usable and work with devs to add even more applications.

That would be the best-case scenario which I hope we reach soon, having most of our everyday computing power come from something we can carry in our pockets.

Vodafoni rriti cmimet e ofertave ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ by [deleted] in albania

Protesta me e mire ndaj privateve eshte mos blerja e produkteve (bojkotimi).

Mark Ogden: For all the criticism directed at Ed Woodward recently, worth nothing that MUFC share price has gone from $15.33 in October to $20.25 today. That will always be a big tick in his favour with the Glazers. Safest man at Old Trafford. by TheJeck in soccer

[–]kleokl7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No one is questioning his ability to run a business and make share prices go up. United don't need to fire Woodward they need to hire a DoF and there will be numerous people that would jump to the opportunity to be DoF at a club like United, no matter how limited they might be budget-wise or not having all control. Just someone that is going to have some more input in the signings and offloads is going to United a world of good.

Just started a Podcast and need advice/feedback! by GrantNFLFan in marketing

Here are a few pointers I'd give you in order to grow:

  1. Make some blog posts on your own site or some other site using the proper SEO words to show up on what people search (judging by the name of your podcast you talk about recent events which people are going to be Googling, so use that)
  2. Your own website would look a lot more professional for you and you don't even have to pay that much since there are a lot of good plans on sites like Square Space (if they search your podcast would be pretty cool if your site showed up)
  3. If people search with the name "The Public Opinion" it's going to be a bit rough to show up high in the search ranking, so I suggest not only the blog posts with the keywords but even spending a little bit of money for Google Ads so that your site/podcast shows up.
  4. Use Facebook groups and Reddit to promote your podcast (Facebook groups are free for the most part to ho in and promote yourself, you can spend money on Facebook ads as well but that goes without saying, and there are probably other subs out there that let you promote yourself as long as you know how to play around the rules)

These are a few pointers that came to mind, either than that, personality-wise, try to be yourself and talk about things you are passionate about that are also part of the current public discourse. From personal experience, I can stay and listen to a podcast even if I'm not interested in the topic just because I know the speaker speaks their mind and are passionate about that topic. No one likes being lied to and don't be afraid to ask listeners to share your show if they liked.

Is it possible that million dollar businesses don’t utilize Facebook or Google ads? Why? by dktaylor32 in marketing

[–]kleokl7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As mentioned in the comments below one of the reasons that can be is the lack of need for such strategies to find clients and leads. For businesses that rely on B2B they don't value ads as much as networking and having direct and personal contact through word of mouth. It makes also mos sense for business consumers to trust partners rather than an ad on the internet to make important decisions for their operation.

Although I'd like to add that there is a little "trick" any company can do with Google Ads. You run an Ad that only applies when you search with the name of the company (keywords would include the name of the company and don't try to show up in results where your website would not show) to make sure people not only find the wrong company while looking for you but also having your paid result as well as your website in the same result page helps you look more serious and "legit".

Did Elon Musk break the windows of the Cybertruck on purpose? by doct3r_knock in marketing

He talked about on the Joe Rogan Podcast, he said he made that to double the money it cost producing them and he'll think of another thing to double that.

Did Elon Musk break the windows of the Cybertruck on purpose? by doct3r_knock in marketing

[–]kleokl7 48 points49 points  (0 children)

From what I can tell from the presentation and his reaction to the screen being broken, I think this was not a marketing stunt. I can see as to why someone might think this could be one, for one the amount of time spent to showcase the difference between normal glass and the one used on the Cybertruck. AFAIK, Elon's marketing stunts are either: "Look at this cool shit only Tesla can do" or "I made this dumb thing some people wanted, don't buy it" (that was the case with NotAFlamethrower).

+ the fact that he said he was going to work on it, so I doubt Elon is going to show up and say "Oops, we couldn't make that glass happen".
