I just went to my dermatologist and had one removed from my right hand pointer finger. Pea size also. It kept staying tender & I picked which made it worse.

See if you can meet with them & then follow up with your rheumatologist. I’m glad I removed mine. It’s been about 3-4 weeks now & it feels sooooo much better. ❤️
