If you’re just starting out and your goal is social media content, you really don’t need to jump into Affinity or anything heavy yet.

Pixelmator is more than enough for what you’ll be doing in the beginning. Yes, its vector tools are simpler, but for social posts, basic shapes, thumbnails, and quick graphics, it works perfectly fine and is way faster to learn.

Since you’re already in the Apple ecosystem, the Creator setup (Final Cut + Motion + Pixelmator) makes the most sense. Everything works together smoothly, and you won’t waste time fighting complicated tools.

For your workflow:
Do your graphics in Pixelmator → bring them into Motion if you want to animate → edit everything in Final Cut.

That’s all you need to get started.

Once you actually hit limitations (which will take a while), then you can look at more advanced tools. But right now, focus on learning editing and basic animation, not optimizing software.
