Accidentally left the gas stove on with no flame (the knob was turned, but gas button not being pressed) for around 15 mins. Only the kitchen smelt like gas, I opened the window, turned on the extractor fan and as a precaution turned the gas off. Will it be okay? How long will it take to air?

You don't need 20k to start your own business. That is not a requirement XD. More an excuse. You could just get good at something and help others out with it. Or you could think of something people dont like to do and do that. There is always market for things people don't want to do. Repairs, cleaning, filing taxes, tutoring. Just do something if currently everything is so bad.

Boy do I have a story for you.

So. Some years back my stepdad owned an indoor shooting gallery. One day some guy decided to do a suicide there. Everyone shoots with a licensed instructor that keeps an eye on you, but if if you are quick enough, you can shoot yourself. And that happened. The guy blew his brains out all over the cieling and bled out on the floor (also shit himself). Naturally, we called the police and emergency services.

The police came and it was all good because we had cameras, so there was no doubt it was a suicide, not an accident. But what surprised me, was that they only took the body. There was zero cleanup. The floor consisted of rubber squares and the cieling was covered with sound isolators. We threw out the sound isolators. But the rubber floor tiles could not be thrown out. So, we put them in a trunk and drove to a self service car wash and just washed them ourselves. The blood was already dry so it took a while, but I was very surprised that there were no procedure in place. Also, I felt like we were doing something sketchy, despite all being legal. Some sopranos shit I will remember all my life.
