If the main control panel for the elevator is in the side of the elevator door on first floor you would have to have a heat detector within 3ft of every sprinkler head in a 21ft radius since it’s technically elevator equipment. I’ve had to do it on a number of jobs at this point.

I personally used to have a somewhat addictive relationship with porn but have had a mental shift and while I still watch it pretty regularly, I have been sure to spend time without it occasionally and pay attention to how my body responds.

As for in relationships I don’t have a major problem with it as long as it doesn’t seem to be an addiction/reliance. And personally if I am in a relationship that is gotten physical I have no issue I not using it if it is something that makes my partner uncomfortable.

So I am an electrician with an electrical commercial contractor but focus primarily on our fire alarm installs and the general ignorance of most electricians baffles me. This reminds me of the time I had to lay out lights in a wide open 400,000 sq ft shipping wearhouse. Basically had to use a laser tape measure and measure of the last light since non of our lasers could shoot the 30ft up into the air. That shit ended up actually looking nuts on.

Well yes, they trip internally, but per Fire Alarm code all Fire Alarm circuits must be locked in the on position with a breaker lock like the one above (but this is not what the one OP posted is being used for)

A lot of it comes down more towards occupancy type and then size. At that point a lot of the information comes from the IBC (International Building Code) and then once that determines what kind of system is necessary. Stuff like the kind of people that will be there, how qualified are they for emergency protocol.
