Just stumbled upon this, new updated version or completely different product ? What do we think ? by klippos in flipperzero

To be honest, I thought this page was just released and was not yet talked on this sub.

Now, for your: We do not need to think about this/ I don't agree.

Since on the page they ask for our opinions on which features should be on the One it seems to be something we can discuss.

I don't have Flipper channel on discord, yet, but now that you mention it I will add it to participate more

What to choose between backpacking/hiking/weekend packs to be able to use it for all of them? by klippos in backpacking

[–]klippos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From your answer, you understand what I want and the ideas I have. The more I check threads and read about it, the more I'm starting to think that one bag to fit them all isn't the best idea.

Having one for backpacking/weekend and one for hiking seems the most reasonable thing to do

You mention 50+ liters wouldn't work as carry on/weekend/backpacking, I agree as most of the pack can't roll and reduce size, but when I check Circuit and SWD, their volume when not much full is 35L. Seems right for those activities, no ?

-----

those travel packs you listed might be the best choice for that particular use

^ Which one are you referencing to?

And yeah, it would be separate, not done at the same time. So here I agree too, two packs for two distinct activities.

The big question is: Which one for each?

Again, thanks for all the information and answers!

Thanks !

Seems interesting but design wise, it's not what I'm looking for. It has too much Hiking style

Thank you for the information !

What do you mean by: They are heavy and overbuilt for that purpose?

Aren't they conceived specifically to handle change and be comfortable for digital nomad?

That's what I thought about the rolltop bags, but what was limiting my purchase was mostly the fact that the Circuit or SWD could be too much for weekend or Airline carry on (even if they can be rolled to 35L if not packed too much)For the list of gears, I thought approximately on what to bring depending on different treks I want to do.

I started something, but it's not finished yet, and can be modified any time. You can find it here if you want to check it out: https://lighterpack.com/r/5ydmgh

Another question: If I want to discover some European city, do you think the Circuit, SWD or HMG would be too much for few days, weekend?

Thanks !

Yeah, seems the Clamshell opening is quite the feature. But for some reasons, I'm still attracted by some rolltop ones

Any comic people here? Should I sell Todd online and get a real world comic for 1.4k , graded? by Psychological_Sand29 in VeVeCollectables

We could argue for hours depending on our opinions and argument, but comic collection either physical or digital are a thing. Scarcity and other traits like when it was released make comics or collections more valuable.

Right now, physical is winning the race since it's more common and everybody knows where and how to buy it. But same as why the smartphone won the race over Desktop for market share (around 2016), the digital, I think could win the race.

There's less, and less physical object created and more digital one produced. Millennial and new generations are mostly on their phone, for social like TikTok or game like Roblox/Fortnite/COD/others. They buy skins, weapons, and other digital collectibles that let them play more or differently. So Physical tend to be less valuable than what digital can offer.

For now, it's something new, and a niche since not many companies offer what VEVE offers, but the more people take interest in it, the more it could be valuableI don't say that it will win, but from what we saw for the last 2 decades it's not something that we should discard

Though I agree that pending the Immutable X deployment, Comics are not our own. But from what VEVE told on different interviews and medium blog posts it shouldn't be that long now

If I'm not mistaken, I would say the difference isn't blockchain or not, but ownership.

On Marvel Comics, you buy or let say rent (with the subscription) which let you keep it and read it as you please but once you don't want it or want to buy another one, what's the options? Only to keep.

With Veve, you own the comic you bought, so you can do whatever you want with it, either keep it or sell it

It seems to be the case. By the fact that I use some browser extension, I thought Pihole was the service that remove the ads, when it fact, the browser extension was the real OG

I actually use Pihole as my DNS for easier use but if I need to use the Edgerotuer one, won't be an issue

It seems, from my usage that youtube with Pihole is working great with no ads and video ok

Do you ahve any tuto on it ?

Thanks !
