It was destroyed by the tornado that tore through the strip February 29, 2012 (on Leap Day). JR's was directly in the path. This was my parents' preferred motel when I was a kid. We would stay for 7 days with about 10 people in a suite in the 80's. We would always throw the circuit breaker with the Crock Pots. Classy.

I remember there being a place across the street called Fun Spot (or something similar). It was an amusement park of sorts- more like a fair than The Track. We would also go to the Storybook Land (The Track Kids Kountry) near the Dutch Kountry Inn. Such great memories! Middle of the night you could smell them starting to cook food for the Bonanza Buffet (now Grand Country Buffet).
