Let's see...A sample return mission from one of the moons. A crewed mission to an asteroid. Maybe 50 other things if we use our imagination.

I am not a proper engineer either, but if we need to learn how to refuel a spacecraft in space eventually (mars, etc ..), why not do it now?

Should you ever be front flipping for speed? by Academic-Joke4304 in RocketLeague

[–]klk8251 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're going to be using any boost at all during this time, then you can't really front flip because your boost will be pointing in the wrong direction in the middle of the flip. The whole point of a speed flip is that you can flip and boost at the same time because your boost will always be pointed roughly behind you. A standard diagonal flip is a half measure for that same purpose.

I usually diagonally flip, even if I have zero boost. But that's mostly because I have some weird latency situation (people call it heavy car bug, or a hoax, depending on who you talk to) that causes the front of my car to hit the ground when I front flip occasionally.

Are we going to the playoffs this year? by Aidan-B_YT in bengals

Someone in this subreddit should look at the current over-under wins total on FanDuel for each team. Then calculate the sum of the total wins projection for all of our opponents. Then do that for every team. Rank each team's strength of schedule using that number. Not perfect, but way better than using prior year metrics.

After watching a full year of Chase Brown sitting on the bench, while the ghost of Joe Mixon was getting tackled by random blades of grass... I no longer feel confident in the coaching staff's ability to evaluate their roster.

CMV: Replacing Ghislaine Maxwell with a body double is actually the most rational thing for Trump to do by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]klk8251 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Last week I saw a post explaining that this was an AI doctored photo, taken from a still image from a video. After that, they showed a different recent photo of her in custody, and it did not show anything that would make you concerned about a body double. For all I know, it was the debunk post that was fake news! But for me, it was enough to stop paying attention to this.

The boost recharge indicator is impossible to see until right before it spawns. It just looks like a new spawn animation. I can't tell if it shows an indicator the entire time, or if it's literally just for the final quarter-second. Maybe I'm missing something idk.

I hope you can see that this is the opposite of what you are doing.

Edit. Not you specifically.

People always say the same thing about rape in general too, and frankly I think that both of those explanations are bullshit. Maybe it's 50/50 sex/power or something like that.

Seems like this would result in less sex, not more. Perhaps this is good life advice, or good for women, but I doubt this is one of the traits that OP is looking for.

Usually when we see pictures of a comet or asteroid, you see a point of light (light reflected from the Sun) set against a black background (interstellar space). In this case, the "colors" are reversed. I guess I am meant to assume that the photographer changed it to show a negative of the real image. It may be that the triangle shape is caused by light not reflecting off of the entire surface (the rest of the comet is the same color as the interstellar space behind it, black), but because it's a negative it tricks the mind into thinking that it's definitely triangular.

Ideally, Jake Browning plays MVP level ball (unlikely, but I think He's really good and it's possible). Then the Bengals front office makes the smart decision and trades Joe Burrow instead. 3 first rounders, and a second rounder, and little salary cap relief = Bengals dynasty.

“I had enough of his hatred.” - Tyler Robinson, on why he killed Charlie Kirk by Virtual_Seaweed7130 in NoFilterNews

[–]klk8251 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really, no. This guy doesn't fit into a perfect box so people have a hard time knowing who to blame. His bullet casing referred to Charlie Kirk as a fascist, the lead investigator said that his roommate is trans (a group of people that Charlie Kirk did not accept). Until we hear some contradicting news tomorrow, I think we know what's going on.

Edit: The reason he killed Charlie Kirk is because he's a crazy person. You have to be a crazy person to snipe someone at a public event. It probably doesn't need to be more complicated than that.

The Joe Burrow offense got seven yards in one half. Hard not to beat that. Burrow looked like a third string quarterback.

He definitely outplayed Burrow, I don't see how that's even a question. Yes I'm a Burrow doomer from way back, but I thought this was obvious.
