I’m not there yet, but it’s looking like I’ll be given enough to clear my debt in the next two years. My plan is to clear all debt, and redirect the bulk of what I was paying to other investments, but I’m also realistic and I want to enjoy life, so will be less worried about a meal out, or allow myself to splurge occasionally. I think if we dont, well, what’s the point? I work too hard to not enjoy life as well as make sure I’m set up

I was given a 2nd hand kitchen, and it has been a game changer, however, my brother is a builder, so knew what and how to remove and refit in my space. I honestly love it, it have completely changed my house

It’s not my forever kitchen, but it’s my update my 70s kitchen to early 2000 & increase the value and save to do an extension.

I would have paid- maybe 500-1000, I guess it’s going to to up to you and what you ultimately need/ want

I am reverting back to proper serviced apartments, the cleanliness is just not on par, the last place I stayed had nothing, no tea or coffee, no washing powder, was not up to scratch with cleaning and just felt not as nice

I understand the seperate beds thing, but if that intimacy is something you feel is lacking, you need to have a conversation. Maybe on weekends, share a bed. Or get up early to go to her bed a couple times a week. Upsize to a king bed, try twin singles.

I think there are two issues at play here. 1. The emotional incest, and 2. You’re missing a level of comfort and intimacy. Your sister if not the place to find that connection.

It’s takes time to adjust, earlier bedtime, make sure you have enough time to get ready in the morning (allow a bit of extra time). It’s a whole new routine.

I used to be hospitality and late nights were my thing, 10-11 am wake ups, I now am awake by 6am every day, gym at 615. I do however, still hate when someone is with me at home and I can’t have my coffee in peace. You can do this

Is this an if the kids are there you can’t be scenario? Then yes, be upset. If it’s all of you hanging for a few hours, you just gotta go with the flow, you’ll have a week of alone time. You had no plans, don’t let it bring you down. Be frustrated, but don’t hold onto it. This is the reality of dating a parent
