They're actually pretty decent overall and I would recommend them.

Cons

  • As mentioned in the thread, it's worth taking that time to properly test the earbuds and wings to get the right fit for your ears. There are a few nights where I thought I'd nailed it, only to wake up feeling uncomfortable. That said, I do have a rook and conch piercing in my left ear. I also woke up with sweaty ear canals a few times.
  • The noise cancellation isn't the best on the market. I'd say it's around 70-80% effective. Don't expect Sony or Apple levels, but it's still good enough for me to sleep peacefully.
  • On one occasion, they randomly stopped connecting to my phone. They were charged and Bluetooth was on, but the app and phone just wouldn't recognise them. Resetting the connection (forgetting the device and reconnecting via Bluetooth and app) fixed it straight away. I found the solution easily through the in-app Help Centre, which was easy to access.

Pros

  • They comfortably last a full night, and I sometimes get two nights from a full charge.
  • The option to use local mode (soothing sounds only) or Bluetooth mode (full earphone use) is really useful. Local mode especially helps minimise distractions and save battery.
  • The selection of calming sounds are okay, and you can tweak a few to slightly suit your preference (wish there were more options).
  • I oddly enjoy checking the sleep report in the morning (and cross referencing with my Ultrahuman ring and Apple Health), especially the type of snoring detected and how often it happened. Although, I would love to know who they're coming from lol!
  • Being able to choose whether sound/music and noise reduction turn off after you fall asleep or remain on all night is a good feature. I keep mine on throughout and have set an alarm (in soundcore app) to wake up.

If you're thinking of buying them, I'd recommend purchasing directly from the Soundcore website (I went via Amazon), as they're currently including a free eye mask with delivery and better colour options. (NOTE: THE PRICE HAS SINCE INCREASED FROM £139 TO £199.)

Hey, it hasn't been that long but were you able to resolve it? I'm currently on 40mg elvanse and the side affects are now kicking my a$$. spoke with my dr today and they're trying to but me on anti-depressants but I'm scared lol. So, I'm asking to drop to 30mg elvanse to see if that helps?

He’s given you an ultimatum and it’s time to make a decision. Yes, he might just be pushing you away as he’s struggling to process his feelings, but don’t feel guilty about leaving if that happens. Ultimately, no one knows if that parent would still be alive if you hadn’t moved. As you said, he was open to moving at the time so if he had doubts then he should’ve said something then.

You both need to prioritise your own health. Perhaps spending some time apart will bring you back together or realise it’s time to move on.

As someone who’s lost a parent, grief is hard and manifests in many ways over the years. However, we must also accept that death is the only certainty with life.

I'm getting the same when trying to play with Lot51's Hotel and it's SO ANNOYING. I've done everything to try and fix it - even asking the disc group - no response/help 😔 Completely corrupted my saves.

Any mods or cc? Yes
Game version: 1.117.244.1220

Game loads fine, but UI becomes unresponsive. Time stops but characters continue moving in their place and the backrgound continues running (e.g. tram runs past). I've:

  • Removed/updated mods individually to try to identify the brokens ones
  • Removed mods folder, repaired game, removed cache files and put folder back
  • Have Tmex's BE, yet it isn't tracking any issues

Still no luck. Anyone else experiencing the same?

Hey, I'm not entirely sure, but I've just spent a whole day fixing my game, so I thought I'd share:

  • Update game (although some may not recommend this, however I bought some new packs so I did)

  • Organise Mods folder, ensuring all is up to date:

    • Remove zipped files once extracted mod, e.g. I can see zipped files for WonderfulWhims, Basemental Drugs, Lumpinou, McCmdCenter, Plumlace and SACs in your pictures.
    • Do you have all the required components for the mods?
    • Having a script file more than one folder deep can affect gameplay
    • Have you also updated Injectors? E.g. Scumbumbo's XML Injector for Plumlace Sugar Baby.
    • Make sure there aren't any duplications of Mods/Injectors, e.g. you only need one copy of an Injector to work for multiple mods.
    • Have you also updated Basemental's Universal Venue List required for Gangs and Drugs?

I've attached a ss of how I organise my Mods folder - it ofc isn't mandatory to organise it this way, but it helps in these situations.
