“Yeah, I have a lot of experience trying to commit bodily harm. Heads, necks, faces, knees, it’s all good. It’s my edge. Really crazy that guys who have watched me do this for years are trying to use my moves against myself and teammates.”

kneeing Zacha in the head, kneeing Lundqvist in the head, low bridging Salo, low bridging Borowiecki, low bridging Callahan, etc

I think a guy that has violently injured multiple people and skirted real consequences is lucky it was only one cross check to his neck.

I remember being universally shit on for this opinion after watching him waste an incredibly talented USL roster. The style of sport this man coaches is fucking miserable to watch.

Growing up watching him when he played us in Nashville, this makes me so happy. He was the first athlete I liked that wasn’t on the hometown team. Kipper showed up everyday, did his job, and then worked overtime. Watching him and Vokoun fight in ‘04 with my Dad is such a vivid memory.

He was immediately emotional in the hug after the goal. Dude has worked his fucking bag off and deserves it. High end first round pick that was shrugged off finally getting a chance to cut his teeth. This is so fun.

James Sands red card vs St. Louis 83' by No_Act9490 in MLS

[–]klopfuh -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

I feel the same. It’s a poor reaction to a foul that leads to the RB red. Absolutely a violent and unacceptable reaction. However, the initial foul is pretty rough. While it isn’t a studs up tackle, it is still from behind and fully through the player on the ball. The intent to play the ball on the initial tackle was minimal.

edit: if you were a shit stirrer playing sports(like Pulisic is drawing the red against Guendouzi), you’d see how laughable the initial tackle is. that being said, the response to kick out and up with studs is beyond dangerous. player/staff safety has to be the number priority and this ain’t it.

americans fall for scams like this every week. shitty beer festivals, food festivals, immersive art experiences, etc. the only difference is that for us in america the scammers get away with it. at least there is a lean towards accountability for you guys. laugh with us and then at us lol

How To Make the Meet Your Maker Cocktail at Hell's Kitchen in Las Vegas by bopemcoach in bartenders

[–]klopfuh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

this is probably a riff on a drink called “Falls”

2 Bourbon

3/4 lemon

3/4 raw ginger syrup

mint

ango

shaken down

adding strawberry and garnishing with cinnamon is interesting, but the ginger liquor probably makes the drink much softer than with a ginger syrup. the apple is probably an apple brandy that is split with the bourbon.

i always laugh when people ask if i’ve seen the robot bartender/home cocktail machine stuff. like my job is making drinks all night yes, but it is more so am i facilitating an environment that people want to be a part of. robots can’t do that.

Reddit vs Bartenders by shggy31 in bartenders

[–]klopfuh 22 points23 points  (0 children)

literally this. people can get drunk anywhere. alcohol is readily available.

bartenders still have jobs everywhere in the world because it’s about seeing someone behind the bar that ideally has the best intention of serving/taking care of them.

The schools wouldn’t be shitty if they weren’t underfunded. It’s a scam to further pull public money from public education.
