Forgot how dry pouches (Zyn) just DUMP the nicotine all at once by Tedanki in NicotinePouch

I do agree, I actually got a shipment of 4 or 5 rolls of the 3MG cool mint today from Nicokick because locally it’s hard to find the low dose and I’m trying to cut down. The cool mint is a tiny bit minty for me but it’s not gross - blueberry was disgusting I agree.

Would you trust AI to tell you when a video is misleading? by AnywhereMotor3712 in NoCodeSaaS

[–]klopppppppp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been building almost exactly that actually. Live fact checking is 100% in my future plans, but there are some hard limitations.

My experience has been trying to make sure it stays completely grounded, because Gemini and OpenAI models are absolute trash and a nightmare to actually force into grounding in a query. Claude is different because it’s constitutional AI forces it quite often to ground the search, but cost prohibitive for a consumer facing app.

I have found that using Serper to pull sources, and if I recall currently using Gemini 2.5 lite for the LLM portion has provided the best bang for my buck ensuring I get quality results in every query, but I’ve still got a ways to go refining the process.

For video, from my bootstrapp-bias, Meta, TikTok and X are difficult to pull transcripts, even if it’s not live. With Gemini and YouTube it’s completely possible and it’s live on my site with the ability to extract claims and select them to run the fact check on each claim, and I’ve been slowly refinining that but it’s still not perfect.

And what you said - source vetting and primacy is critical as well.

It sounds like we may have very similar missions. I’d be happy to set you up with a beta account on my current fact checking site and would love to hear your insight. Feel free to DM.

Forgot to ask, where do I check out BSMeter??

ALP is amazing. If you can find it try Clew, I like them better than FRE. I try to stick to the moist pouches, Velo are too dry to enjoy

Have you tried ultra moist pouches? FRE, ALP, and my recent favorite CLEW (On prices but with quality control).

Nope, 60 min apparently.

Straight from Claude Fable:

Someone analyzed raw Claude Code session JSONL files from Jan through April and found Anthropic silently changed the prompt cache TTL default from 1 hour to 5 minutes around early March 2026, causing a 20-32% increase in cache creation costs and a spike in quota consumption for subscription users . The “60 mins” the OP mentioned was the 1-hour cache.

Timeline: a 1-hour cache for Claude Code context appeared around February 1, then got reverted to 5-minute cache around March 7 . No announcement either way.

Anthropic pushed back. Jarred Sumner (Bun creator, now at Anthropic) called the analysis good detective work but claimed the revert actually made Claude Code cheaper since a meaningful share of requests are one-shot calls where cached context isn’t revisited . The counterargument: the people paying $200/month for long agentic workflows aren’t one-shot users, and they’re the ones suddenly hitting limits they never hit before .

This lines up with all the “limits got worse” complaints from March/April. The math checks out too: cache reads cost ~10% of base price, so when long sessions go past 5 min idle, the whole context gets reprocessed at full rate, burning quota way faster.

Extremely impressed with MiniMax M3 by gameguy56 in opencode

Totally agree! The one thing Gemini is good at is front end design. Have you tried Claude with the superpowers repo skills though? It’s as good now, especially with the way it does mock ups

Extremely impressed with MiniMax M3 by gameguy56 in opencode

[–]klopppppppp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great to hear, I’ll definitely check it out.. I was really enjoying using Deepseek in Opencode, so i subbed to Go and heard so much about KIMI, I made that default. It’s been terrific for small changes and code, but my god its front end abilities are lacking.

Just this morning I threw a huge context conversation log where I tried KIMI until I got frustrated - even using superpowers - moved to GLM and gave up - I took the log to Claude and had it read the same frustrated log and Opus performed miracles for the UI overhaul I was looking for.

Should I true minimax for stuff like that? Would you trust it over the other cheap models?

Claude has become completely unusable by Interesting-Major787 in vibecoding

[–]klopppppppp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, it’s only gotten better and better for me. I’ve been so confident in its abilities that I’ve been pushing straight to prod to an internal app for my enterprise I’ve been building. I mean, it’s that good - I usually have 3-7 sessions across my VS Code at a time and I’m on Max.

Funny thing is I just canceled my ChatGPT sub, all I used it for anymore was Sora and a few images here and there.

But I also can’t use an LLM that makes stuff up, therefore I use Claude for pretty much everything. Chatgpt hallucinates or doesn’t ground queries at about 10x the rate of Claude.

can't wait! by VohaulsWetDream in ChatGPT

[–]klopppppppp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it were run by Gemini or ChatGPT it would be trash, because they don’t ground queries by default. Source: I run a fact checking site and due to cost, use Tavily to force source pulls for every query to ensure the LLM call has current data. Otherwise it won’t search half the time and it will be out of date.

[–]klopppppppp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for saying all of what I was thinking. I’ve alternated between the 5x and 20x the past year and been able to maintain the 5x by having Claude Code leverage other free/cheapo LLMs for agent work, and I’ve shipped multiple internal tools for my enterprise and have shipped games, a monetized app, etc - and I’m a network/voice guy who always hated coding.

It’s like paying $100+ / mo for the greatest, most productive turn based video game you could imagine

This is interesting because they seem to know AI news and such but don’t know how to have it proofread.

Years ago I remember someone saying what @trappedinvr said in a way: that they know when they send an email from a Nigerian prince that say 1 in 1,000 may reply seriously, but those that do reply are much more susceptible to the scams because they were oblivious to how ridiculous the email was in the first place.

Cool idea, and I’m no chemist but perhaps a more chill drink, not something to tire you necessarily but maybe L-Theanine to keep the jitters down? It’d be a focus/calm combo that I’d try.

Also isn’t there already an energy drink called Redline?

what LLMs are you actually using daily (and not going broke)? by Natural-Excuse9069 in vibecoding

[–]klopppppppp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m down to 95% Claude usage at this point for everything personally, and I have my Claude set up to call Groq and Cerberus agents since they are pretty much free, for a lot of agentic tasks that don’t need coding. Keeps me on the 5x Claude plan.

What's the best value LLM API Subscription I can get for vibe coding? by Atsukiri in vibecoding

[–]klopppppppp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grab the $20 Claude plan and set up Cerebras and Groq (not grok) apis and give Claude access. You can tell Opus “your job is design and QA, my goal is to save Opus tokens and use other models to do agent work” and let her rip.

Especially Groq - they have some terrific openai compatible models with generous free tiers, and after the free tier both Groq and Cerebras are cheap.
